Restaurant located on a nice place with view on the lake of Iseo. The atmosphere is so pleasant and what to say about the food? They serve very fresh bread (still a bit warm) at the beginning and we had a plate of cold and warm fishes from the nearby lake with vegetables as a starter, excellent! The main dishes (fritto misto and lasagna) were excellent as well. They also propose a large choice of excellent italian wines. The waitress was very gentle and professional.Grazie , molto gentili.Chef Alberto

After visiting the Franciacorta region, for touring and tasting of their fabulous Franciacorta "bubbly",we found Bertola Agriturismo by chance. There were lots of cars in the parking lot, so we thought we'd try it. It was very busy, however, we got a table right away. Bertola has a fairly large winery and serves it's wine as part of a fixed price lunch. We couldn't believe what was offered at the fixed price of EU 12, approx. $15. Our first course was a choice of delicious gnocchi, or pasta with tomato/meat sauce. For the second course, we both had sliced rare roast beef and a vegetable, however, there were two more choices available. Delicious fresh rolls were served. There is a large vegetable buffet at which you can help yourself. We chose local red wine to go with our lunch, and didn't realize you get the whole bottle to enjoy. Coffee or cappuccino were served after our lunch. There are only a few choices for each plate at this price, but everything was fresh, hot, and delicious! At EU 12, we agreed we found a local gem at quite a bargain.

We didn't book and were lucky they still had a table. If travelling in peak season I recommend you book. Excellent food, some of the best we had on our holiday. We had tuna carpaccio and ravioli to start (ravioli in particular was superb) . Then risotto and escalope Milanese for mains followed by home made deserts. Well worth making the trip here rather than staying in Iseo.

Rather special restaurant in the middle of their own whine yards. You drink their own special wines which you also can buy.At lunch time they have a special menu for ⬠12 with two courses including wine, water and coffee. You can have the coffee in the beautiful garden. In the evening you dine à la carte.Friedly staff, perfect service. It is a great place to be in a perfect ambiance. We come there already for years!

We stayed in Paratico for one night on our way to Verona. Having walked along the front at different places to eat, we liked the look of L'Approdo and it had great views of the lake upstairs. We sat down and moments later were asked if we wanted drinks, we asked for a beer and a gin & tonic. We were told they don't do beer - other than craft bottles ( at 15 euros per 330ml ) and they don't sell spirits! We asked for a couple of minuets to choose from the wine list, 10 minuets later they came to take the order, a glass of prosecco and a bottle of Red from the list I pointed out to them, a further 10 minuets later they appeared with a bottle of prosecco and two different sizes of red. I told them it was not the wine chosen and they came back with the list - pointing it out again, they finally brought the right one and poured a small un measured glass of prosecco. The food we ordered finally arrived which was not that good, that along with the service was not a very pleasant dining experience. The restaurant only had one waiter that clearly understood English and the restaurant was mainly full of Italians. If you are English, do not eat here as they make you feel very unwelcome. We left and went to the bar next door who served normal beers and spirits along with very happy and friendly staff.

I came to Grumello del Monte to visit a client and enjoyed a nice lunch at the terrace of this restaurant located out of the town, near the Autostrada. They have a great lunch menu for 17 euros.Well elaborated courses, a really good option if you are near this place during lunch hours. It's worth a visit.

Fine, fresh ingredients of high quality. Ambition in the kitchen, no question about it. Basically traditional Italian cooking leaning towards continental modern. Not inventive, but with several touches of good ideas - we had a lobster with "black pasta" flavoured from octopus ink. The angler fish was more common in both cooking and appearance.Accompanied by a nice set on the wine chart, this is one of the best restaurants in Sarnico.Interior is stylish and the courtyard lovely on a summer's eve.The charming English hostess makes it easy for non Italian speaking to find their way to good choices. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Recommended!

I went here for lunch with my husband and 2 friends, and we didn't quite know what to expect. At the last minute we decided we wanted to visit a vineyard, so we called this place and they said they have tours and food. When we arrived they seated us at a table and started off by pouring us prosecco. We didn't know if this was a tasting or how much anything cost but we went along with it, and shortly afterwards they brought the lunch menu. We still didn't see any prices for the wine, but the food prices were very reasonable and we each ordered one dish. The food was really amazing and we were all completely satisfied with how flavorful our meals were: steak, risotto, ravioli, and cannelloni. Throughout lunch they refilled our prosecco and also offered red wine for the steak. For dessert my husband and I shared a tiramisu, we got a couple coffees, and they provided complimentary grappa. We were quite nervous to get the bill, but it amazingly was only 70 euro for all four of us.After lunch we inquired about the tour, which was the primary reason we came, but they couldn't accommodate a tour in English on that day.
