Find out what Barbecue restaurants to try in Brescia. Set between Milan and Verona at the foot of the Alps, Brescia is the second-largest city in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, with just under 200,000 people. The city’s rich history dates back to pre-Roman times, when it was a Gallic capital. The hotel we stayed in recommended this restaurant when we asked where to go for a good steak and what a great recommendation! We booked a table short notice and when we got there asked to eat outside. We later realised we were very underdressed for the restaurant so that worked in our favour. We were served by a friendly, knowledgeable waiter speaking very good English. He made some excellent suggestions for a starter platter of meat and cheese which was delicious. Three of us went for the rib eye steak and one for the fillet steak. We all agreed the meals were very, very good. Our friends who like their steak medium/well had the option of the hot plate to cook it further. Mine at medium rare was absolutely perfect. The restaurant is not cheap but definitely worth the price. I would go back when in the area

Driving in the North of Italy we come out of the motorway in Brescia to have some lunch and the moment we turned a corner we saw this small trattoria with a very intriguing name and on a whim we decided to get in.We were welcomed by the owner and I don't know why we immediately thought that we would be in for a treat; we were right. The food was exceptional and the service friendly without being overwhelming. The trattoria is run by husband and wife and it is clear that for them it is more a life choice than a job. They really care about the food they serve and the quality of the ingredients is evident. The home made dessert is a real winner!!We decided to go back for dinner the day after (Saturday) after visiting Verona to try the "Spiedo Bresciano" and it was a very good decision. Absolutely delicious.I want to say that I am from the South of Italy (Napoli) and we don't tend to have much time for "Northern Food" but I was "converted" by how good and well prepared the food was. All of the friend I was with are British and they also totally enjoyed the all experience.I just wish I had "The Commedia Delle Pentole" around the corner to were I live in London...Giancarlo and friends

I went there long time ago and wanted to come back. Good choice since the atmosphere is still enjoyable, staff very kind and friendly. It's like to be one of them! Food is good and served in a nice way. There is a big parking in the underground and it's just 5' ouside the city...

Places we found by chance. We were lucky to get a table at 22:00. Owner seems to run the business from a front line serving and taking care of friends and guests. Neighborhood looks a bit strange but outside there is a parking and a person who look after cars too. So get in. Take a glass of Prosecco and order some tasty food italian way.
