The service in this place is absolutely appalling. The staff clearly donât want to be there. As far as food goes itâs hit & miss. My husband order a mixed fried seafood!!!! Really donât.... unless itâs for comedy value. Everything must just be thrown into the pan together. Some of the pieces couldâve been bounced off the ground it was so over cooked and some of the pieces had been coated & fried whilst still in their shells!!!! So given that there are MANY MANY restaurants around Iâd advise you to just find somewhere else to be honest. The drinks were nice and cold though .... when we eventually got them.

Visited on Thursday 12th September in the early afternoon. The outside seating area was empty, so we'd timed it just right to beat the lunchtime rush. The waitress who took our order was totally disinterested and completely miserable. She should not be working in a customer facing role! The food was ok, nothing to write home about. Marghe also managed to serve the smallest glass of wine we'd had during our week staying at Lake Garda.Sirmione has lots of cafes and restaurants... I'd suggest trying these instead of Marghe.

Our restaurant is only few steps from Sirmione Castle, inside the ancient walls. As soon as you enter you will be fascinated by our splendid terrace directly overlooking the lake, the ideal place from which you can let your gaze wander from one breath-tak
The restaurant is situated on the lake side with uninterupted views of the lake and mountains. The terrace offers shade and a leisurely lunch. The cooking is to a very high standard.

Good Italian food and wine at reasonable prices in the middle of a very busy tourist town on Lake Garda.
Some really lovely food. Surprisingly we had some bad food experiences in the Sirmione área but this place made up for it. I tend to try a bit of everyoneâs (Iâm greedy like that) and every single thing I tried tasted great! A little pricey but would definitely recommend

Piccola accogliente Trattoria in centro storico, gestione familiare, cucina locale, paste fatte in casa, pesce di mare e di lago, ottima carne, dolci e gelati di nostra produzione.Buona carta dei vini.
Recommended by our host, an unusual find in this very touristic place, the restaurant was full of locals. Home made pastas, great beef carpaccio with avocado and strawberries, creative presentation on our plates, fantastic Amarone wine....Maybe the desserts were a bit too sweet but this was definitely our number 1 during our week in Sirmione. Highly recommended.

Seasonal closure. Will open on April 1st 2019. L'Arcimboldo is right in the middle of Sirmione, close to the Aquaria spa. With its variety of rooms, all in harmony but each with an identity of their own, L'Arcimboldo is a pleasant surprise. All the spaces

A truly great night. Sirmioneâs historic centre (old town) is itself a beautiful piece of real estate, combining the aged castles and buildings, Lombardian culture and cuisine and a growing tourist fan base around Italyâs largest lake. This little restaurant tucked away under the castle is a standout. We booked a table across the street from the indoor area in their upstairs, thatched area, which is lovely. The service was first class and the food very good indeed. I chose a Grilled Fish Platter, each fillet superbly cooked with an interesting selection of salts to bring additional zest to the cuts. There was smoked, spicy, celery and rock salt - a really good addition to a dish (weâll take the idea home!) My wife had the finest Gnocchetti, small pillows of Gnocchi with Duck meat and stock. Great food and a good wine, including a very good salad and water - â¬80, which is the same price as other lesser quality restaurants in Sirmione. A real winner!

We had dinner two nights at this fantastic restaurant and we would dine there every night if we could! We tried some of their pasta, beef and pork meat, pizza bread, desserts, bottled and house wine, and we enjoined every single meal. Especially their beef carpaccio and pasta with truffles are to die for! I would also highly recommend their entrecote (which was better than their crostata). Plenty of delicious desserts and we shared many of them like tartufo, creme brulee, tiramisu and cheesecake. Everything was of very high quality and generous quantity. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and has cheerful atmosphere. You can choose a table inside in the middle of the classy interior or a table on a pleasant terrace outside. The menu is varried, the service is very professional, and the staff - friendly and smiling. They may not have a Michelin star yet but the real star of this restaurant is his owner and manager Paolo. An extraordinary person who make you feel happy and special. His presence among his guests is always gentle, smart, helpful... like a virtuoso.Grazie mille, Paolo!

Located in the historic center of Sirmione, Ristorante il Girasole has a large dining room (for non-smokiners) and a partly covered terrace surrounded by flowers and plants, which overlooks the picturesque Via Vittorio Emanuele . It is an ideal restaurant

This trattoria is very famous in the area for two main reasons. One is the great hospitality and fantastic service the family, running and owning this place for generations, makes you feel the moment you step in until you are ready to leave. Second, the food menu presents you with the most delicious variety of appetizers, pastas, meat and fish dishes, and house made desserts all made and prepared with local ingredients like oil, butter, eggs, flour, meat and fish are local produces likewise wine and vegetables. The price are reasonable but the dining experience is superb.
