Set between Milan and Verona at the foot of the Alps, Brescia is the second-largest city in Italy’s northern Lombardy region, with just under 200,000 people. The city’s rich history dates back to pre-Roman times, when it was a Gallic capital. Among the many great local sights are the 11th-century Duomo Vecchio (Old Cathedral, also called La Rotonda), unique for its circular shape, the 17th-century Duomo Nuovo (New Cathedral) next door, and the first-century Roman ruins at Tempio Capitolino.

This amazing country always gives me reasons to like itself. Especially about food.It was the first time I've been there. We tried many things and we liked all what we had.I also liked the place itself, ambiance and the service.I left that restaurant with very satisfied feeling. I'm going to take a part of Italy with myself.

WE SPEAK ENGLISH TO REACH US:all it takes is holding as reference the beautiful plaza of the Loggia, historical heart of Brescia. Shoulders to the Loggia, on the opposite angle of the Plaza, you take, on the right, Street X Giornate. We are after few meter
Set in a historic building with vaulted ceilings just on the corner of wonderful Piazza Loggia. The quality of all recipes and ingredients is excellent and the courtesy of the owners remarkable. Wide choice of wines too. When the weather is warm you can also eat outside watching people strolling downtown. Interesting menu for lunch too.

We received this recommendation as a Trattoria from our hotel. It was late and we indicated that we wanted something good, simple and not too expensive. We asked about parking and since it was late, we were told that parking fees did not apply. We drove to the now Ristorante. It's outside the city, off the beaten path and really hard to identify. Come to find out, the ristorante has it's own parking. We wanted to see the menu before entering and we were told that the menu was inside - I always thought t customary to have the menu outside- I was wrong. A gentlemen directing traffic was nice enough to bring us a menu. The menu, two pages long, had no prices ???? I have been to 5 star hotels and Michelin rated restaurants that always have the menu posted outside and For SURE included the prices. Late in the evening and not in the mood the ask for the prices of the different plates, we quickly put the in reverse and left. Guess there is a first for everything - know that if you go, you might as well give your wallet to the waiter before you order.Gentleman the prices is in the last page of the menu. You make a mistake . he did not even get out of the car, we had to bring the menu directly into his car. I'm sorry but she's not telling the truth.

I finally got around to trying the Regal during the visit of a research colleague from the UK last week. Excellent Dal Makhani, veg curry, poppadoms and sauces/chutneys - and, obviously, rice! After many years of more-often-than-not disappointing "Indian" restaurant meals in the Brescia area, here is a place that was just right. The naan was a little bit focaccia-like, but none the worse for that! Great range of vegetarian choices - alas I could try but one at lunch! Staff very accommodating. Look forward to returning with other friends.

Good service by very friendly people. Their english isn't the best, but they put in a great effort to explain things to you. We had a simple lunch, a home made burger (very nice BTW) and some chicken toast with vegetables. The espresso is sublime!

Came on business. Classy setting. The maitre dâ was outstanding. No menu, just the chefâs choice. But what choices! The chestnut gelato for dessert was my favorite. But the tuna, salmon, and yellowtail seviche was a close second!!Top-notch service, beautiful presentations.

Nice little restaurant; serves mostly seafood. Everything we tasted was well prepared and presented. Staff is really kind (the served me twice of each wine, although just one glass of wine per course was included in the menu). Table are nicely decorated. I just would suggest to pay more attention to bread (not up to the situation) and desserts.
