On the eastern shore of Lake Iseo , in Sale Marasino , and more precisely in the district of Soleville , it is the new Sail . The lake view from the restaurant is beautiful : on that side there are no walls but only a glass wall that amplifies landscape a
By that I mean, we really where after traditional regional food from this area .That's not this restaurants menu.So we where disappointed. However if you like nouvelle cuisine then your in the right place. It's up high so you get a good view morning and night

The food is expertly prepared and the staff are very nice, but sometimes there was a lag between ordering and receiving. There could have been another server scheduled. The food is fresh and imaginatively prepared. It was wonderful to get back to the hotel after walking and know a lovelt dinner awaited downstairs.Next time we will try the tasting memu.

Excellent menu in the evening, and also at noon a two course menu de lavoro for about 12 euro! Both the fish menu as the truffel menu are excellent.

Great restaurant overlooking Lago Iseo.
Our apartment is very close to this restaurant and we always pass it and wonder what it is like. We tried it for the first time tonight and had a really wonderful evening. Christian made us feel very welcome and took amazing care of everyone and everything (on his own) You feel very at home which makes it feel special. Thank you Christian for a very nice evening at your restaurant, we will be back next month!

We visited 2 times for desserts in the middle of September. The staff was young and friendly. The drinks were very good, so were the desserts. Wonderful place!

We chose this restaurant because we wanted to have dinner with a view of the lake, and the staff promptly selected a table upstairs in front of the window. Upstairs they also have an outside terrace (covered, in case of rain), while the terrace downstairs has less of a view, but still with no car traffic in front of it. The staff was attentive and efficient (other than the usual delay in getting the bill: a good Italian restaurant would typically consider rude to bring it too soon and upon asking for it only once), and the background music had the right volume (we could hear it, but did not need to shout at each other in order to have a dinner conversation). We both had fish, first course (spaghetti allo scoglio and tagliatelle al ragu' del lago) and second (frittura di calamari and branzino al sale), all very good. With a nice local Franciacorta sparkling wine (Facchetti Brut) and sorbetto we paid ⬠95 in two - they also have pizza and meat dishes, and local wines which can make for a more gentle bill. I would go back, and would be curious to try the pizza (which I understand is good).

We chanced upon this restaurant wandering the back streets and, being lunch time and hungry, were struck by the good looking menu. Inside a very friendly waitress greeted us and served some of the best pizzas ever. They arrived promptly and were extremely light and tasty. If you only have one pizza on your Italian visit, make it here.

We visited this restaurant during our wonderful, scenic day-hike "Natura del Sebino" and felt slightly underdressed. The vibe is rather fancy and the service highly attentive and very professional. The food was good but not outstanding. The menu featured local, seasonal products like the Wild Boar ragout with Polenta or the Assortment of Lake fishes. The help-yourself homemade digestif at the end and Seniora Rita's farewell rounded off this very pleasant experience.I recommend to come during day-light to take full advantage of the view. When you reserve, ask for a table close to the window. Make sure to step out on the balcony in between the courses to take in the view that is truly unparalleled from what I've seen so far!

Very nice restaurant/hotel situated in a small village sitting well above Riva di Solto. Appears to be frequented by locals and their families for Sunday lunch. Nice selection of locally inspired ingredients and wines. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Views are tremendous from anyplace inside the restaurant. If you are planning to walk up from the shoreline it is not very far but it is a very steep climb.Thank's a lot for beautiful words;I hope to see you soon!Sergio Polini

We had lunch here during our meeting with partner schools, after walking uphill we arrived at a lace with a great view and they seated us in the upper room of the restaurant, overlooking the area. They served us a risotto with courgettes, for me the best risotto I have ever had, creamy, light and tasteful. The other food we had was also of excellent standard. When I'm around Pisogne again I definitely will eat here again.
