The mezza luna pasta is absolutely the best I have tried in all the Italian restaurants I have eaten around the world. It is exquisitely delicate. The wine selection is excellent; Ask Jean Paul for his recommendations. He is an outstanding host!

If you are in the neighborhood, don't let to stop over and have the taste of a fine meal. The Chef Milena does very squisite meals. It is a family business place, the service is very nice and efficient. Extraordinary!

The ambience is nice (they even have a flat tv looping old black and white pics of the city and some local landmarks) and so was the service The "crostini misti" croûtons with mushrooms, speck, cherry tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese were very tastyHowever my fettuccine with local seasonal mushrooms did not cut it. The habdmade pasta was very good but the sauce was not very tasty.I also wanted to order roast beef with roasted potatoes first because both are two dishes usually underestimated while I think they can easily range from awful to great and for the roast beef while a good piece of meat is easy to find around here, the sauce in my opinion is what makes it or breaks itThe roasted potatoes were cut super small in size but very tasty while the roast beef was good meat but with no sauce at all, on a bed of lettuce (!!)I had apple crumble for dessert and that was very good

On the recommendation from the hotel manager - wonderful. Proper trattoria menu, quite small choice, but all fantastic, great wine selection. We ate here four nights out of seven - loved it.

A wonderful warm, welcome! We stopped in here after walking to see the nearby waterfalls and when we stopped by the church only to find the church closed. As we had been planning to be out all day we had eaten our packed-lunches when we arrived at the bar around lunchtime and so couldn't possibly have a meal, so we ordered a beer and sat in a quiet area for a while. The proprietor spoke good English and chatted to us about the area, making us feel very welcome! He gave us a snack as a 'present' - perhaps he didn't like to see someone without food at lunchtime it was a wonderful local bread and ham made locally, with the use of the oils common further south where the bread is prepared made very thin and then I think fried in the animal fat. It was delicious and I don't think I'm describing it well.We stayed for a while, talking about the local area foods and traditions before we had to go one.The food available here looked amazing and would definitely be worth stopping by for They also had a wide array of local foods such as organic jam available and some home made things - like the alcohol and berry mixture I don't recall the name of.Definitely worth a trip here - and if going to the church or passing the waterfalls worth planning to stay to eat.

What a luck that we found this special restaurant. Fresh and authentic regional food was what we got and an extremely friendly service. We ate until food coma and i assume there is no other way to eat in this restaurant. Do not expect any luxury though. The menu is being told except handing out cards- there is only one red or white wine and water, no other drink options. But the food is heaven- truffels are extremly fresh.

We were recommended by the staff at Montepizzo (great call). Although early, there were a few people in the front area which soon filled up which was a good sign. What we did not realise was that the back section was already taken. We were visiting off season as this is a ski resort so found it surprising until the food started to arrive. I had a steak along with potatoes as a main dish (Gluten free) and watched as my friends devoured local dishes (pasta and bread). The end of the meal was celebrated with grappa. The owner is very proud of his very large selection which we had to try.....and rank for flavour.Great food, wine, grappa and staff in a warm environment
