On the advice of our villa owner we visited the Teamvua restaurant which is down a steep path at the side of a hotel come sushi bar. We arrived before 7 but had to wait until 730 for the kitchen to open. The staff were wonderful and looked after the four of us. My daughters had anti past of meats and cheeses which was devoured. I had an excellent steak and my wife had pasta. Lovely meal. Thanks to all the staff especially the girl from the kitchen who assisted with the translation. A lovely restaurant

We were the first ones on the terrace, didnât receive a menu until we asked one ourselves. Ordered a bottle of rosè wine and heard later that they didnât have rosè. The food was not good. There was no toilet paper on the toilet. It was terrible!

The view is obviously nice, although from the inside you feel a little cramped. It was Easter, so I understand the rather conventional choices (tagliata, lamb, etc.). Roasted lamb with potato puree was decidedly average, severely lacking flavor. The baked potatoes were only marginally better. And, oh. You keep red wine in the fridge? And use Tavernello, by any chance?Maybe it's because it was Easter.

L'Antica Trattoria "La Grotta" was founded in 1918 by Adelmo Negri, not far from a cave dug into the tuff. Here generations of gourmets have spent happy hours for lunch or dinnerbased on authentic traditional dishes. "Tradition" is the buzzword that after
We were staying just down the road from the restaurant and we went with our Italian friend. She ordered things we have never heard of and never would have ordered ourselves, which made the meal extremely interesting. We started with deep fried artichoke balls and a platter of meats, which were all very good. We also had platters of grilled vegetables and more deep fried vegetables and fruit, dipped in batter and sugar. Quite a contrast. The maialino (pork) flavours were strong and like nothing I've had before - but delicious. The 2013 Barolo was a great match. We finished off with an excellent panna cotta dessert which was laced with interesting flavours of wild herbs and sour cherries. The restaurant is very spacious, and the service was very good.
