My wife and I had some beautiful food in a true italian Osteria. It was a great night and the service was excellent. This authentic osteria provided us with a short getaway from reality. The good red house wine did help. The only problem is that we could not get a taxi back to our hotel. The owner of the Osteria was kind enough to give us a ride. Thank you! Make sure you get home without a taxi!

We stopped at this restaurant on a weekday for lunch on the road to Bologna. It was quite, the service was excellent, and everything was very good. The pasta was excellent, as were the meat dishes. Deserts were outstanding. The value was excellent; well worth a visit.

We were in Bologna for a wedding and were looking for a nearby place to eat some home-style food and good steak. This place is fantastic! The hosts always greet you with a glass of prosecco and an appetizer, then you can choose a variety of home- made pasta or beef dishes. They have a menu in English but I recommend checking the Italian one with the google translate app because it has more variety. We tried the tomowak steak which is a huge giant thick steak that you eat in at least two people. AMAZING! It's about 3 lbs of meat but they will cook it different ways if you want to share it.We were so pleased that we came back the day after for some hand made pasta. They will also give you a free shot of liquor called 'ammazza caffe' after coffee typically, it's part of the Italian meal tradition. If your party is big I recommend calling ahead because they have about 10 tables only. Overall a fantastic service and great food, you will be pleased! We found this place via a trip advisor vicinity search as we came down the SP31 and drove off to find it. It was a bit surprising that it's based at a small airport, but that just added more character. We were the only luncheoners, apart from the owner of the flying school who was an interesting guy. The chef himself came to talk to us about the food, instead of having a menu which I suppose was odd but when in Bologna... We liked the chef's enthusiasm and suggestions and went along with his ideas. Fresh tagliatelle with a juicy mushroom creamy sauce for me and ragu for him. We could probably have stopped eating after that but that was just the first course and next we had pork medallions and grapes (!) and then some ice cream made by his wife that was beautiful. A glass of wine to accompany and the biggest bottle of sparkling water in the world. Because there wasn't a menu we had to hope there wasn't a horrible surprise in the bill, and we thought ~â¬60 was pretty good. Not that we had intended to eat quite so much but we didn't mind! Worth the brief detour.

Ci sono stato con la mia famiglia domenica 23/06 a pranzo in tre, siamo arrivati, non c'erano molti clienti (ora preferiscono il mare) personalmente lo preferisco, meno confusione, servizio perfetto.Dagli antipasti compresi nel coperto comprensivi di crescentine, affettati, sotto aceti, verdure grigliate (mai visto da nessuna parte) acque, una buona boccia di Lambrusco, poi siamo passati ai primi, tre tagliatelle condite in tre modi diversi, possiamo solo dire OTTIME, i secondi a base di carne veramente molto buona, saporita e tenera, poi siamo passati ai dolci, uno più buono dell'altro, per finire in bellezza con due buoni caffè, dimenticavo il numero del tavolo, il 25.à stato tutto perfetto a partire dallo staff, poca confusione, nella sala grande temperatura perfetta, anche il Conto è stato nella norma,titolare molto educato.Vi ricordo sempre di prenotare prima.Noi lo Consigliamo, Angela, Davide, Alberto

Would never have even thought of this venue, without our local hosts. It's on a horse race training ground. This was an exceptional meal of pumpkin starter, pasta course, beef main and dessert. Great wines and other spirits. Our group was international and all thought the food was the best during our days in the city of Bologna (and between us we visited about a lot!). The amazing dish was the most seemingly simple of tortellini with ricotta, but it was incredible. On the main course, the beef was cooked perfectly. The other pasta dish with bacon cooked in grappa for 10 hours. It was a three hour lunch of simple and highly satisfying food.
