This place serves great food, good prices, good service and should be number 1 in this area. unfortunately is is listed under two names, Trattoria-Romagnola and La Romagnola. If you combined the review it would be number 1. The great Ayrton Senna ate here many times. For that reason alone it is worth the visit.

Customer service was great, the choice of wines amazing. Talk to the waiter and he will recommend a wine to suit your taste.

Tavern with typical dishes from the Emilia and Romagna tradition with a selection of regional wines, family-run since 1948, nestled in the green hills of Bologna, on to Castel San Pietro Terme. Possibility to stay in the picturesque and rustic rooms of th
It was recomended by a local friend and it became one of my favourites...Great minestre, meat dishes, fried veggies and tipical italians desserts!Nice atmosphere on a beautiful hillside, book in advance as it is always full.

My husband and I enjoyed every bite in this family-style restaurant. The food was simple but very well prepared, with no frills. I had some pasta in broth that alone was worth coming here for. Real comfort food.

Il ristorante si trova in una proprietà di 90 ettari di terreno immerso nel verde della campagna di Castel san Pietro terme, i piattti che proponiamo sono strettamente della tradizione Bolognese con materie di prima scelta e in più disponiamo di una vasta
Would never have even thought of this venue, without our local hosts. It's on a horse race training ground. This was an exceptional meal of pumpkin starter, pasta course, beef main and dessert. Great wines and other spirits. Our group was international and all thought the food was the best during our days in the city of Bologna (and between us we visited about a lot!). The amazing dish was the most seemingly simple of tortellini with ricotta, but it was incredible. On the main course, the beef was cooked perfectly. The other pasta dish with bacon cooked in grappa for 10 hours. It was a three hour lunch of simple and highly satisfying food.

This restaurant kind of popular with local. Though mainly staff speaking Italian, one staff help us with English translations for the menu. My friend had lamb steak which is so good and my was meat with cheese and rockets salad which also good. And the dessert was absolute perfect, we had creme brulee and kind of Panna cotta. Ambiance was homey, staff were friendly and food also good. Recommended stop

Enjoyed a wonderful dining experience with group of 8. The chef took care of everything when we arrived - selecting wine pairings to carry from starter through dessert and surprising us with each course of the "house" specialty that night. Delicious! From the antipasti and riccota crostini to the fresh al dente pasta and rosemary veal, everything was absolutely wonderful. We closed with a taste of Nocino Delle Streghe, a sweet and dark liqueur made from walnuts in the region. Highly recommend.
