The restaurant is quite traditional, but the reason why I will visit them again is in 5 letters: pizza! Thin pizza with different kind of dough, without lactose, with cereals, with kamut.Simple place but nice for a break with colleagues at lunch or family at dinner.Prices are good (5.50 euros for a margherita, 1 euro plus for kamut).

Chef-owner Alberto has had the no small luck of having had this beautifully restored medieval building in his family for over 200 years, but he definitely did not sit on his laurels. The menu is of the style you would expect in this corner of Piedmont, and likewise the wine list, but what you may not expect is that this is no movie prop: it is a really a top quality, superb restaurant that can stand on a high pedestal even before considering that it dominates the valley from the center of a wonderfully preserved walled burgh, very near Biella.Bravo Alberto! Not to be missed if you are in the general area, but do expect to need some time for your service, as it does get busy. Lunch only on Sundays.

Any time I plan to get back home to visit my family I always try to make some time to taste a real pizza ...and I always look forward to that. For the last year I've always came back home disappointed, then I discovered this restaurant. Please don't change!PS - The owner is a designer, inside the restaurant everything looks pretty cool

We were on a business trip and went there on the recommendation of the hotel. Tried a tasting menu of 6 courses. We asked for some changes and restaurant was very helpful in accommodating our requests. Everything was pure delicious. Following the waiters recommendation had a great Piomente wine. Overall price for the quality was fair. Had a great special gourmet night.

quiet, charming, friendly and intimate...but it is hard to find if you don't know: it is ia private house, maybe in summer is easier. The restaurant is well furbished and the food is accurate; you can eat fresh and original Piemontese food. Price in line with served food, I will surely come back.

Ristorante raffinato situato nel centro di Biella, offre una vasta selezione di carni pregiate, un menù creativo con materie prime ricercate, con piatti del territorio e non solo ed un eccellente carta dei vini.
This is a great place for meat lovers !They do have a la carte all kind of different meat. We had carpaccio (thin sliced raw meat), two different kind of tartare (also raw meat), a beef filet which was excellent, and a fiorentina (a big t-bone steak). Service is nice and accurate. Great selection of wine. The Nebbiolo we had was super.

We were traveling for business and found this little restaurant. I must say with cars blocking the entrance and with looks of the outside of the restaurant it looks like an average store. However, this is top notch place with extremely polite, helpful and sincere waitress and the chef. We were in rush and had less than an hour for lunch (which is too short for a proper Italian lunch), they helped with the choices. I had home made tagliatelle with lamb and porcini and my colleague had the homemade tagliolini with the local cheese (shame on me i did not note the name). Both were delicious. We had a glass of light red from Alto Adige - also recommended by the restaurant, it was soft and not overpowering the food. And shared a suoufle. I would definitely go there again. Wonderful place.
