Good food and very good for the price paid. Pay attention when ordering pizza on one side and a "classical" dish (= "secondo piatto") on the other side of the table, you might have the time to finish the pizza before the classical dish is served. Quiet place at lunch time.

This restaurant makes sure you know it is Sicilian in Northwest Italy. The waiters are all Sicilian, with those dark Latin good looks - and charm, even when rushed off their feet, as was the case when we visited. I love fish, and was persuaded to fight my way through a whole red mullet surrounded by excellent mussels and clams, resting in a red wine and olive oil 'bath'. Crusty bread was provided for dipping. Graham, no fish fan, enjoyed an excellent pasta dish, and we shared a salad of exceptional freshness. Don't think we had room for desserts. We noticed that their pizzas were very large and the paper-thin bases looked crisp and well-loaded. We had an excellent house wine. The place had an old-fashioned mahogany-and-brass decor, and the tablecloths were well-starched white linen. The diners were happy and relaxed, and proprietor and waiters were obviously proud of their food. Do go! Not the cheapest if you have fish, but superb and a very atmospheric evening!

Any time I plan to get back home to visit my family I always try to make some time to taste a real pizza ...and I always look forward to that. For the last year I've always came back home disappointed, then I discovered this restaurant. Please don't change!PS - The owner is a designer, inside the restaurant everything looks pretty cool

A group of 8 English tourists catered for beautifully. We were looked after by the daughter of the owner, whose English was good. A mixed meal with pizzas, risottos, octopus, swordfish, and huge veal chop. Excellent wine list, beautifully organised. We had a great meal. But when we went to leave they could not contact our hotel, whose telephone system was down. The owner swiftly offered to take us back, 2 trips to manage 8 of us !Grazie Mille

Piatti abbondanti e ben presentati. Sicuramente torneremo.Sara e Marco

We came across this restaurant while touring in Piemonte and visiting Biella. The day we visited, Biella was hosting an international food festival and everybody was having lunch at the stalls. But we wanted something local and authentic so we tried L’osteria. To our surprise the place was almost full. And despite that, the service was fast and friendly and willing to explain everything. We had buffala and prosciutto crudo for antipasto and amazing risottos, one with artichoke and local hazelnuts and the other with melted Tome cheese and melted butter! Simply amazing!

I really enjoyed the food however I don't appreciate the portioning/pricing policy. I believe that every dish has good value: mid-range price for a big portion, however, when I go to a restaurant I like to have more than one dish (entrée and main course) to try different things but unfortunately here is just impossible.

I have been several times at this tiny, but very cute place. The owners are nice and the food they serve is delicious, especially the pizza. The vegetarian platters are excellent and prices are in the norm. The only defect of the place is the size, in summer the heat is unbearable. Good place for heathy take-outs. Definitely recommend it!
