We stayed in the hotel for a week and very much enjoyed our time there. The owners and their children are lovely and very helpful. A huge amount of care and thought has gone into the construction of the hotel and its restaurant - and it shows. The rooms are lovely and well appointed, and the view is breathtaking. We ate several times in the restaurant, and the food was consistently good. They have their own winery as well, so you can choose from their extensive selection of wines, plus a lovely sparkling wine to start your meal. They aren't open every day to non-guests, so it's best to call and check!

Had the Casoncelli bergamasca style with butter, sage and bacon. You can taste the quality ingredients, especially the bacon. Absolutely brilliant. For second course I had the Veal fillet with Branzi cheese and black truffle. I just love the fact that they dont even ask how you want your fillet. There is only medium rare. Again, the ingredients came together brilliantly. The espresso and biscotti was obviously also good.

The excellent restaurant view the valley offers the pleasure of getting lost in a variety of flavors typical of regional cuisine, Delicious fresh pasta dishes, succulent dishes of our game, accompanied by local wines or a wide range of fine wines, conclud
We enjoyed the perfect dinner with very prepared personnel and a great atmosphere. We tasted the buffet first (veggies and fresh green), then we had local dishes: foiade (typical fresh pasta) and pappardelle with mushrooms, meat with polenta and local dessert (a cake with figues, choco chips and corn). We finished with Lemon-grapefruit-mango sorbet. Prices are good and wines are excellent with a very good choice. We really experienced love for the territory and love for guests. Every detail is studied and well set, mixing old and new, tradition and innovation.

Unfortunately we can't come here often but every time we are back in Italy this is one of our favorite restaurant. The location is not easy to find but it is worth the trip. The personnel and the owner are always very kind and polite. The owner Alberto is the chef and he comes often to the tables to talk with his customers and he always welcome you when you arrive. The dinner starts with an aperitif in the restaurant cellar, a must do!About the food, after several times we have been here we cannot find anything wrong (except personal taste). The only improvement we can suggest are the desserts. Not too elaborated compared to the rest of the menu.Definitely recommended both for a dinner with friends or a romantic special occasion.

It's long time I know this restaurant in Palazzago's hills, few Km from Bergamo and each time I go it is always better. The restaurant style is warm and relaxing, with very kind staff and google choice of typical dishes in the menu. Also the wines menu is wide and with good choice of brands and wineyards. The quality is excellent, all the food is done in the best way ad for example the best tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms made with fresh pasta or the stufato d'asino and polenta taragna, you cannot miss them. Desserts are also excellent. If I need to tell the only negative aspect it is the home wine which is not at the level of all the rest. Then I will come back for sure once again and again and I recommend to go there if you are in the Bergamo area.

We enjoyed dinner here, having chosen one of the tasting menus - the seafood one. Each course, together with the complimentary appetiser at the beginning and petit fours with limoncello at the end, was delicious. The dishes were also beautifully prepared and presented and the suggested wine was excellent.Service is both friendly and efficient and the room has a pleasant ambienceThe restaurant is quite small and booking would be advisable. This is not cheap - tasting menu â¬60, wine â¬28 - but does, I believe, offer value for money.

Staying for a week at the Miramonti Resort in close-by Rota D'Imagna, we wanted a change of scene for dinner, and our hotel owner recommended this place and booked us in. It wasn't a great evening weatherwise, so although the restaurant has a nice outside terrace, we decided to eat inside. It was also midweek, and it turned out we were the only diners that night, which was a shame. However, we could not have been better welcomed nor looked after by lovely Monica, the chef's wife - and don't worry about her English, she was great. The restaurant is beautifully homely inside, it's like being in someone's living room, with plenty of things to catch your eye, although there were also plenty of tables in a larger room at the rear. I'd love to have been there on a busy summer evening... We chose the tasting menu, I think this might have been 30 or 35 euros each, and the food was all delightful, and we weren't made to feel rushed at all. My partner asked for a different 1st course, as there was something on the al a carte menu he particularly wanted, and that was changed with no difficulty whatsoever. Good wine selection also, and we were offered a complimentary brandy to finish. The icing on the cake for us was that, as we wanted to have a few drinks, our hotel very kindly gave us a lift there, and Monica herself drove us back to the hotel - I'm not sure if this works on more busy evenings or times of year though! Absolutely recommend. A bit of local cooking with good ingredients and a high standard all round. Enjoy!

Me and my boyfriend had a delicious dinner at the Roncola restaurant. We picked the meat menu and we drank a really good red wine advised by our waiter. The atmosphere is really nice and the service is fantastic. We had a full course meal with first and second plates including desert and paid only 70â¬. For the high quality great price you can't beat it arround. Highly recommended! We will surely be returning in the future.

This restaurant is a little secret on the hills near Bergamo, a secret that is a pleasure to discover. The two dining rooms have huge windows on the wonderful landscape of the area and that's already one reason to pay a visit. The restaurant has a really great staff that treats you like a king and the dining is definitely top quality. To add some more to this quality all of the ingredients are local and authentic local cuisine brought to the highest of standards. I had the tasting menu that was composed of 2 entrees, 1 course of pasta, 1 course of vegetables, 1 course of meat, 1 pre-dessert (amazing) and a choice of desserts. Everything was served with great presentation and you could really tell how much research went into each course. The prices are high but the quality is very high so it truly deserves a visit.Recommended!
