Born as a Café and Pastry shop in 1959, the family Fracassetti changed their business into a Bar Pizzeria thanks to the innovative spirit of the second generation in the business.
I am Italian, so, to me, pizza is a must.I searched for best pizzeria in Internet. Then: Fracassetti.Ok, let's test it.I saw this huge pizza (covered): "I want that one""Vulcano?" she said (but she meant: are you sure?)"Two. One for me and one for my guest."Amazing! And then the beer! They make this beer here in San Pellegrino.Everybody is so kind and helpful.Strongly suggested!Really cheap compared to other restaurants here around.Dear Frengod3,we really appreciated your feedback, thanks! We are always very proud when our guests order a Vulcano and have the whole lot. We couldn't be happier to know that you both had one!We have other specialities in our menu which are definitely worth tasting, Pane Arabo amongst them.We hope to see you again soon!

I stopped for lunch in this unassuming-looking restaurant/pizzeria on the two occasions I visited Scullera, Oneta last year. The menu offered had changed to reflect seasonal availability, but the warm, friendly welcome was just the same. All of the other diners were locals, and known to the staff by name... always a good sign especially in Italy! The order was served quickly, the portions were generous and prepared with fresh ingredients. As I will soon be resident in the area, I look forward to visiting on a more regular basis.

Writing this review in English so to promote Val Brembana beyond our borders.Spent 4 hours having a great lunch on a sunny day. Many delicious starters, two mains, dessert, coffee and spirits at the end.â¬35 is a honest price for such a big lunch.A different approach to the valley's traditions, with an abundant fixed menu.Would recommend it to anyone visiting the surrounding areas (Bergamo and Milan).Just an advice: see if you can get some choice for the wineFabio

The restaurant "La Taverna di Arlecchino" is situated in Valle Brembana in the little village of Oneta, a little medieval borough rich of historical-cultural testimonies. The structure is obtained by an old 1400 house, very close to the famous Arlecchino
Could this little restaurant nestled in the small medieval town of Oneta, outside San Giovanni Bianco, be one of the best kept secrets of the Bergamo region? Chef Franco takes pride in the 'prodotti tipico' of the Taleggio and Val Brembana, starting with antipasti that showcases a selection of the world renowned Taleggio cheese and locally cured meats, home grown figs and fresh vegetables from the valley. The cheesy frittata is a worthy centrepiece to this great starter. Following on was possibly the best risotto I have ever eaten. The secret seemed to be the fresh shaved truffle that complimented the cheesy, al dente dish without overpowering the other elements, as so often happens in my experience. The slow cooked beef to follow was so tender, served with fleshy slices of mushroom and a wonderful homemade pomodoro and parsley sauce. The entire meal was complimented by local wines of the highest standard. The two small rooms of Taverna di Arlecchino were a buzz with local atmosphere, and we appreciated Franco's occasional appearance at our table to ensure his Australian guests were smiling, and smiling we were. He even managed to convince me to try dessert despite my very satisfied stomach and I am glad he did. The panna cotta was presented to Michelin star standard, wedding white, perfectly light and accompanied by marinated blueberries that were a stunningly sweet conclusion. Do not expect a wide choice of a la carte options but expect to be satisfied by the seasonal choices presented. We paid 40 euros each for a four course meal and wine - great value for the quality and experience. As Australians, my wife and I agree that if Franco opened Taverna di Arlecchino in Sydney or Melbourne, the waiting list would be 4 weeks but then the truffle would not be so locally fresh.Â

Grabbia holiday farm is located in the Brembana Valley, within a vast estate of more than 20 hectares in width. There are plots of land that are given over to pastures for animals but also woods, a big chestnut wood and fruit trees. The courtyard includes
We were three for lunch at Grabbia and left delighted. It had just started snowing when we arrived and the cozy ambiance of the restaurant was a great start. All of the food was very local, most homemade or homegrown/raised there at the agriturismo, and the owner was happy to answer all of our questions about the different dishes. The highlight of our meal was the goose raised on their farm. We also loved the leek quiche, smoked goose cured meat and casoncelli. We could tell as we ate that they cook course by course and serve everyone at the restaurant at same time. There isn't much choice of what exactly you eat, and there is a lot of meat, but there was a big variety of plates. Would definitely return!

Servizio professionale.Prezzo adeguato.Locale da consigliare.Torneremo alla prossima occasione.
