Located about 100 kilometres (62 miles) north of Venice, Belluno is the capital of the province of Belluno and the most important city in the Eastern Dolomites region. With its roughly 36,000 inhabitants, it is the largest populated area of Valbelluna. It is one of the 15 municipalities of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.

Let me start by saying that my 5 star rating is not the fine dining kind of rating but rather a rating based upon the balance great food great value. Here the menu is local, short and if you're unfamiliar with local dishes may even be experienced as odd. We were a group of 5 and we all chose different dishes. Everything was cooked splendidly and presented well. Very very pleasant experience and I will make an effort of coming back to this place next time we're in the area. I only hope that the lovely young lady and her husband are still running the place because it's thanks to them and there passion for good service and fine produce and knowledge of cooking that this place is well worth a visit. Bravi!!

I went to Conz with my in-laws for dinner a couple of years ago, now this restaurant is a must whenever I visit Italy (which is 2-3 times per year).

This is a fast food place disguised as a restaurant. The interior is a Disney version of the American west in the 1800's. The food is good but not great. The service was very good. They get a lot of business at least for now as they are new in Belluno. So make a reservation. We ordered a Mexican nachos appetizer which was a joke some chips and some dips, nothing more. There is no reason for me to go back. We were 5 for dinner and all had the same impression.
