I got the vegetarian Pizza. It was over cooked. It even smells burnt a little but I was in a hurry so I did not complain.The Pizza was overloaded with very good stuff !!!

I've searched far and wide in Italy looking for the best gluten free pizza (Florence, Rome, Naples, Capri, and Sorrento) and I've finally found it! I thought it was the real deal it was so good. So glad to finally have found a great spot. And I could tell they make their own gluten free dough there because it was thin and didn't taste like corn, crackers, or potatoes, it was perfect. Big kudos for Excalibur!

Iâve tried many different PIZZAS in my life all over Italy and the world- but the Pizzas from Enrico and Louis are deffinetley the BEST I HAVE EVER HAD!!!The dough made with so much love and seem as light as a cloud. Prendo spesso la pizza da portare a casa ed è in assoluto la migliore della zona... Utilizzo di prodotti freschi. Le pizze sono ottime, ben farcite e super digeribile.. La disponibilità dei titolari nell'accontentare la varie richieste è un punto in più... BRAVISSIMI!!!

I have been so many times to this restaurant that this time I have decided to write a review finally. A warm atmosphere welcomes you : as soon as you enter the door there is a large bar side where you can indulge in different aperitifs - actually the corner looks like a wine bar. At the bottom of that wisely refurbished old building you can find an ample wine cellar where you can purchase some bottles among the wide offer of mainly national wine makers. The restaurant includes two floors and a summer terrace. The second floor it is the perfect place to arrange a dinner party for large groups. The menu is not so extensive but always with interesting dish proposals; anyway you can always find local recipes to taste the tradition ! Good and friendly service along with decent prices.

This place is an unexpected gem. The exterior is unassuming but there is parking conveniently located right in front of the restaurant. The interior is practical and well laid out. What is amazing, though, is the food: excellent, straightforward cuisine straight from local tradition. Some of the dishes such as "cansunziei", "formaggio fritto" and various kinds of Alpine pasta are simple and yet delicious. The service in this family run restaurant is affectionate and friendly. Overall, it is a great experience at an affordable price. It is much better than many fancier restaurants to be found in Cortina and Belluno. I warmly recommend it if you are in the area.

The restaurant is located in a sort of a highway (not very traveled, during lunch hours) that leads to the mountains, but it is an excellent spot where to stop and eat. It is small, but very well-finished. The service is great, although it might take longer than usual. The staff is welcoming and neat. Great food. We ate here twice and both times had the daily suggestions - couldn't have been happier. They change the menu regularly, because they use seasonal food, so I would recommend to ask them what their suggestions are. With hot weather, they open the terrace - amazing view of the mountains and lovely fresh air to dine with.

It is hard to find, even in the best and most expensive gourmet restaurants of the world capitals, such unique Italian dishes, prepared and served with passion and enthusiasm from fresh seasonal, fresh local ingredients and a talented chef, in this casual, relaxing and cosy trattoria. Every year that we visit the area we preorder and try something different from a wealth of choices, and every year our meals are unique and equally unforgettable. From the antipasti, to the primi and secondi piatti, the dolci and the locally produced digestivi drinks, it is the complete Italian dinning experience. Looking forward to my next visit...
