While exploring the quant streets of Polignano a Mare, we came across Street Burger and wandered in for a snack. What a pleasant surprise! The place is clean and well organized, offers delicious food, and the staff are super friendly. We tried a few different items based on the serverâs suggestion, and each was delicious. An original take on the very American burger. And the prices were decent, also.

If you wish to get a taste of the real southern Italy check out this Lido. To call it a beach would be too much. It's a former ramp for fishing boats in a natural inlet between the rocks just outside the historic centre of gorgeous Polignano a Mare. Yes it's concrete and pebbles. There's some deck chairs with parasols, some pedaloes, lots of youngsters diving off the rocks. This is where the locals go; it's cheap, it's busy, it's fun, it's loud and the food is just great! The barbecued squid (â¬5 each) is just perfect, the Fritto Misto (â¬6 if I remember well) one of the best we had in Puglia. They also serve sepia, mussels, one or two pasta dishes and that's about it. We spent several days here, didn't want anything else.

Ottima macelleria e braceria nel pieno centro di Polignano a Mare, gestita dai simpatici e bravissimi Marilena e Marco & Figli. Il locale dispone di una piccola veranda dove è possibile cenare gustando la squisita carne: ottime bombette col capocollo, buonissimo il pollo con gli aromi, la tagliata, la zampina. Tutto davvero eccellente e a prezzi accessibilissimi. Consiglio vivamente di accostare anche la patate alla brace, davvero strepitose e la mega insalatona mista. Da ritornare assolutamente!!!

Modest menu comprising offerings fm the local cuisine. It's mostly a "braceria", hence focussed on grilled meats of various kinds. It is also a pizzeria! They do also hv starters and first courses on their menu. But the best bit is definitely their wine list!A great selection of labels covering both Puglia and the entire Italian territory. A really extensive choice for a place almost in the middle of nowhere. I was pleasantly delighted!!The food was good, especially their steaks thrown on the charcoals. I enjoyed the home made desserts too: a nice variation fm all the industrial desserts one tends to find in Italian restaurants.

LâArchibugio Antipasteria Braceria Wine Bar is a great patio and dining spot. We were somewhat reluctant to try it because it didn't seem as busy as many of the others and we did not have a reservation. However, we were quickly impressed with the service and the food. We shared seared tuna, grilled calamari with puttanesca salad and caponata; all delicious. Good pricing, too. I recommend this little restaurant highly.

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of a local when looking for a good fish restaurant. This is one of those times that I wish Trip Advisor had a rating between average and very good. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 teen girls.The foodAmazing selection of seafood all extremely fresh or alive in tanks, you choose your fish from the ice counter or tank. The fish is simply prepared and staff are very knowledgeable and happy to make suggestions. We had a mixed salad of octopus, squid and prawns to start which was delicious. They prepared a large plaice for the 3 of us eating fish. The catered for the vegetarian in the family and also had a vegan menu.LocationTucked away down a track that looks like it leads to an industrial estate. We turned around once thinking we must have got it wrong. Nice inside but no view to speak of and not near the water. ServiceWe felt a bit rushed. We were given an English menu but it was large and we would have liked to have taken more time over it. I don't know if we had arrived near the end of the lunch service but it felt as if we had (14:00) as we felt under pressure to order.WineReasonable selection of 1/2 bottles; (we were driving) but a very extensive local wine list overall so we wished we weren't. Overall good fresh seafood, not the best ambiance or service but good enough. If you are looking for very fresh seafood this is a good choice. Thank you very much for your review! I'm sorry you felt under pressure to order, I assure you that was not the case.

We have eaten here twice in the last week. It is truly amazing and lacks any exploitation of tourists in a tourist centre. The food is outstanding and amazing value.Book it as you will not get in at short notice. Try the fish soup but share it as a starter, itâs not soup as we know it but is full of seafood and is truly an outstanding dish. The pasta will convert the most stubborn of pasta haters.This is a very genuine restaurant run by very helpful and honest staff. This is probably in my top 5 restaurants anywhere. Thank you for your skill.

This place is just a short ways past the Porta Roma right along the main drag and is absolutely wonderful.We pigged out and ordered three sandwiches and two tiramisus for â¬20. So stuffed that the tiramisus are in our fridge for tomorrow.Everything is so tasty and the staff are very helpful with recos and toppings.Family run. Just go!

Husband and I had the antipasto - 7 courses to start (lucky we'd had a tiny lunch!) and each plate was lovely (courgette flower fritters, sliders, cheese and split bean salad just some of what we enjoyed). Then we both had a perfect beef main - my rare piece was perfectly cooked - and we washed it all down with a lovely boytleof wine recommended by our waitress. On only our 3rd night in Polignano now, it's going to take a lot to beat this place. It's up the road from the main centre but go find it and you won't be disappointed:)Grazie mille per la recensione
