This restaurant ia also a take away but don't let that put you off. The restaurant is charming with a lot of attention to detail in the decor. The waiter was actually the owner and he spoke a little English but had a mens completely in English which was very helpful. The food was excellet and beautifully presented. Very relaxing with attentive service.

Thick and perfectly cooked spaghettis served in a steal plate/bowl for only 6 euros. One advice: ask for not too much salt.The terrasse is in a much quiet place than the other restaurants by the castle which makes it very enjoyable.

Dopo diverso tempo, sono tornata in questo ristorante di Sammichele... ulteriore conferma della mia ultima visita, servizio sempre eccellente, cucina di qualità e ambiente accogliente e molto pulito. Consiglio il pesce spada alla brace e le crespelle agli spinaci.

When you want a true food experience this is the place....Chef Angelo born in this region takes classic dishes and turns them into masterpieces....we had a wonderful lunch there and even though we ordered just a few dishes (appetizer, main, dessert) the food was non stop! We also ordered a couple of glasses of wine which were both perfect! This place should be the highlight of your trip to Puglia...plan accordingly, give yourself lots of time to eat and enjoy this wonderful chef create his magic!

It was staggering to see just how busy this restaurant was on a Thursday night in mid September.Without an advance reservation we would have had little chance of a table. We were impressed with the food and especially the fried anchovies, local pasta speciality and pork. Service was a little haphazard and slow apart from the Georgian waitress but perhaps understandable with the volume of diners.At cost of around â¬60 euros including a bottle of wine fair value.

This is the kind of outdated restaurant that serves plates my grandmother could have cooked when she would have been an Italian mama. What we got on our plate was fresh and well prepared - but no more than that. Even the atmosphere of the huge place was straightforwardly cold & boring .... with even 4 men dining after a sort of curtain not to be mixed up with the rest of the guests. If this is the best in place, then Putignano is not 3-star dining place.

This is the rooftop restaurant in the Corte Altavilla. The dinners are beautiful. Our first night we had the From thr Land Tasting Menu. It was superb. It cost â¬35 but was worth it even though this is very expensive by local standards. The second meal thrre I had Sea Bass and it was really lovely. Claudio is an attentive and efficient host. I had to come for business reasons to Turi. One evening I had dinner in this restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience. Good food, suprising creations, tradition and new cooking, all together made it a very good experience. The staff was extraordinary friendly and made a good atmosphere.
