Absolutely amazing. The food is real venetian with many venetians eating here. I am delighted with my meal and wish I had found this restaurant earlier in my trip to Venice. If you get an opportunity to eat here you will not be disappointed. Food was amazing. Enjoy

I have been visiting this place several times, recommended by some friends as the best place around where it's possible to enjoy high quality chargrilled meats and the high expectations have always been met. The menu also has some delicious more complex meat based appetizers inspired by the local traditional cuisine and some very good local wine bottles. But the high quality local meats, the steak, the rolls, the sausages etc perfectly cooked on charcoal are definitely the shining stars of the menu here. The service is friendly, they will go out of their way to provide the best possible experience. The place is small and cozy, it gets really busy and it's not open every night so it's best to book in advanced.What a wonderful review! Was recommended by someone in the area... a bit in the countryside between Castellana Grotte and Alberobello and navigators may not quite get you there. That said, it's a great place... huge dining area both inside and out. Cheese plate was delicious... I enjoyed some mixed meat while my wife had the tortellone. Our friends were not thrilled with the tagliata but I think they were expecting something different. That said, we liked it.

Small but beujous restaurant, nice interior and good service. The waiter helped us with the menu as our Italian wasn't good enough to decifer the menu. We had a 300g steak medium rare with the wine and mushroom sauce which was the best steak I've ever tasted. The down side was you only got the steak with nothing to accompany it. But the meat was excellent.

Last Wednesday and Friday I and my family dined in 4 in this Macelleria /Braceria in Castellana Grotte. And we experimented several local specialities based on Meat mixed with local cheese/mushrooms/etc... More we enjoyed the best steak of locally grown veal. Taste and quality were beyond imagination, difficult to find such tasteful and tenderness in italian meet ( we had something similar or better only in Argentina and Chile). More, many of the Meat starters were very original receipts and delicious.Not to forget about very reasonable prices 58/60 euro in 4 persons (including starter, dessert, wine, digestive) , as well to note the very Friendly and attentive service and clean new dining room.The Owner him sell explained any Meat Dish at order, and showed all certificates of Italian locally grown animals.

Interessante la scelta di separare la parte hamburgeria dalla braceria. Bello lâambiente con tavoli ampi e tanto spazio tra un tavolo e lâaltro. Carne cotta alla perfezione e molto saporita ma ciò che ho apprezzato di più sono state le proposte di antipasti e primi piatti. Originali e ben curati. Ottimo anche il dolce. Staff gentile e disponibile.
