My wife booked two restaurants in Monopoli with similar TripAdvisor ratings. After looking them both over during our wander round the town there seemed to be no contest and we cancelled the other one. This restaurant delivers great seafood at a very affordable price. For starters I had a very generous portion of sautéed mussels and clams and the missus had marinated salmon, both of which were delicious. We then shared a sizeable sea bass baked in salt, which was just one of a large selection of fresh fish on offer, most of which was priced at â¬45/kilo. It was beautifully cooked and almost too much for us. We had it with salad and roast potatoes on the side. The latter arrived a little late, and were discounted in the bill without our saying anything. The service was very professional throughout. We went on a Friday night and would strongly advise booking as lots of people were turned away even though they seemed to have some empty tables. We found at why at 9.30 when local Italians started to flock in. We ate in the outside area which is just a few yards from the port and was much less hot than eating outside in the town centre would have been. If and when we return to Puglia we will be back here for sure.

Great service, good food and low prices in comparison with other restaurants in Monopoli! The food was amazing, we got a mixed appetiser and sea bream with mushrooms. They offered us some bread and taralli during the meal and every time we finished them, the waiter gave us some more, two times for free. You wonât regret a visit here!

This place was recommended to us and we were staying nearby so called in for lunch. It was the last day of our holiday and we were gutted not to have found this place earlier , traditional and authentic Italian cooking doesn't get much better. We booked to return for dinner as we wanted to try other things on the menu . We couldn't get a cab and didn't want to drive due to having had a bottle of wine the owner came and picked us up and dropped us back at our hotel later ,he did not have to do this as it was a Friday night the restaurant was full. Cant wait until we are in the part of Italy again so we can revisit this place.

Location on a quiet square can't be faulted. We booked a table and the place was full. It's a bit of a tourist trap. There is a very large menu and the food wasn't always well cooked. Several tables had large groups which seemed to dominate the service. My shellfish risotto was al dente in the extreme. The fried fish and tempura vegetables main course was not good. There were no vegetables and the batter was heavy. Small prawns in their shells which could not be peeled dominated the dish.We were disappointed as we had great expectations for this place.

Condominio 60 is a bar and a restaurant in the center of Monopoli. Situated in an old palace, is a place to live a culinary experience in a cozy place. Typical dishes and fresh fish to match with some of the best italian and apulian wines and personalized
We enjoyed a tasty meal in Condominio 60 on our last evening in bustling Monopoli. It's well located in the pedestrianised area of the town near the port, the food is authentic Puglian including a variety of fish tartare, fried mussels, octopus and the regional speciality of veal meatballs in a tomato sauce. Beef fillet was a little over done for medium rare but acceptable and price for 4 of us represented good value, particularly with 20% off by booking in advance through Trip Advisor and The Fork app.

The restaurant Le Muse e il Mare stands for elegance, professionality and quality. Thanks to our chefs we turn our dishes into real works of art, always keeping the traditional flavours
Quite a few restaurants were closed in Polignano as it was Monday night and this included the restaurant we had intended on visiting.Frankly, weâre pleased it was closed as this establishment in Via Roma was superb.Itâs easy to know when youâve found a good restaurant as the service speaks volumes. Here Lorenzo, our waiter along with his female colleagues were exceptional. The atmosphere was really good, the soft jazz was spot on and of course the food dishes topped it all off. The salads were fresh, the pasta and fish dishes brilliant and the Tiramisu was the icing on the cake!We are in Polignano for three nights and despite the choice of eating places weâve decided to go back tomorrow night.
