Family run business with great vibrations and a rustic air which is very well located under a purple tree and next to the main road. Super easy to park, and even easier to have a well priced delicious home made meal. They offer a good variety of tapas, from the fish dishes prepared by an experienced seafood cook to Catalan classics such as meatballs, potato omelette, paella and croquetas. They offer grilled meats from morning until night, I recommend above all the sheep ribs which the area is well known for. Besides having great food, it also has a pub atmosphere full of locals. In here you can have a good taste of the local wines and liquors such as the home made "ratafia" and a variety of cocktails. A calm and friendly place to stop by on your way to Montseny mountain.

We must go at least once a month. Regardless of the weather in the Montsany Nat Park. Service, food are great and prices are fair. Will be back soon! Oh! Better ring and make reservations prior arrival

We live in Sant Esteve and we often go there to have some tapas or a "plat combinat" and have a gluten free beer. It's an apparently ordinary place (the Cocacola sign is misleading), which serves good quality fresh tapas and has a country lively atmosphere. The staff are very nice and the owner a charming man. I recommend the Pulpo a la Gallega (octopus), meat balls with squid and home made bravas (sometimes they run out and serve frozen ones, which are acceptable too, you just have to ask). Salads are nothing special but they're fresh. The only negative thing is that you have to go early as they quickly run out of stuff. Overall, I recommend this place to any traveller who wants to go where the locals go in their day to day life.

We had dinner here twice during a two week stay in the area, it would have been more but it is only open Friday and Saturday night (though it is open more for lunch). The food quality and selection at this restaurant is amazing for the price. We ate both times from the menu that allowed you to share 4 starters and then chose your main. The menu also included drinks dessert and coffee but we never got that far as we were all too full. For â¬28 this was a bargain as the food was excellent quality and at least as good as I have had in MUCH more expensive restaurants. The staff were exceptional and it was an open kitchen. I can't recommend enough

Great cuisine on the way to Montseny in the town of Mosqueroles. Plenty to choose from the menu of the day as they have dozens of dishes to choose from. I visited the restaurant with other 3 people and we all had different dishes and all of them were outstanding.Either make a reservation or arrive either early or late as this place gets crowded with locals, I can say that in the entire dining room of about 20 tables we were the only tourists, I think that tells you a lot.The service is courteous and fast; I am not sure if they do have menu in English but I can assure you theyâll make their best effort to explain whatâs on their menu.Everything I tried was to die for and the prices were very reasonable. Donât forget to make some time to have your coffee or desert at the patio.

We arrived in Los Gigantes with an hour to kill before our villa was ready. We had looked at restaurants on the harbour front on google maps before we arrived. Unfortunately Maria Rosa isnât shown. It is right at the end of the road and as we turned to retrace our steps the menu presented itself. What a find, the house Tenerife white wine was superb as was the fresh fish we ordered from the cold display. Service was casual and attentive. A little gem hidden away opposite the gates to the dry boat park.

La Falda de Montseny is a fantastic place for Real Catalan rustic food! Furthermore it is located in the beautiful nature scenery of Montseny which makes it a great escape from Barcelonas Urban area. It is a special place because it is run by a family for a long time and the service is everytime excellent. The best plate to have is the beef steak with Foie! It is just incredibly delicious and a must-be for all meet lovers! It is the Catalan place to go for my family and me!

The restaurant is located in the beautiful village of Sant Esteve de Palautordera that is the door of the magnificient Montseny Natural Parc and mountains, so is a perfect place to visit if you love nature and countryside and you want to walk after or before lunch. The restaurant is a traditional catalan country house (Masia) sorrounded by the forest and it has also an equestrian center in. The place , the quality of the food and the service is good. We ordered the menu for the weekend and all dishes were good, I recommend the monkey fish rice and the peas with foie and with boiled egg at low temperature. We ordered for drink a good catalan red wine from Priorat area. In general it was a very nice experience.
