Called in here a few times for drinks with the family, really good atmosphere mainly due to the landlord joking about and pulling pranks. Lots of mini games on tables to help pass the time, would recommend if staying in Malgrat.

Went here after reading the comments on TripAdvisor. Can't say that the food was bad, it just wasn't good either... Would rather recommend the British pub next door.

The New crown and anchor was our local bar for an evening drink, during our stay in September. Excellent pub, very hard working owners and staff, who were always very quick to take orders etc. Definitely recommend going there, canât wait to visit again.Thank you very much. Went on holiday with my family to Pineda de Mar and researched this place prior to leaving. Six good beers on tap, two of these were from the Catalan region and I think there were two belgian beers, a german beer, and something else. One of these beers did change between visits. There are also lots of decent bottles to choose from to drink in or take away.The place is very friendly; the owner knows his beer. We didn't eat there but our children were welcome in the bar, and other families had there kids with them.If you are in Pineda this place is a must visit for a good beer.

Whilst being on possibly the worst holiday ever we stumbled across Gringo Joe's and this possibly saved us. We visited twice once to watch a football game and have dinner and then again where we took friends from our hotel for dinner. Our first visit was amazing as there were atleast 4 screens with football showing and we had a fillet steak with the most dreamy pepper sauce for only 11euros which was in itself such an amazing deal. The staff were amazing plesent, friendly and helpful. The meal was absolutely incredible especially as we were experiencing such terrible food at our hotel (H.Top Olympic) and this honestly kept us alive. We then visited again with friends from the hotel as we explained how amazing it was and they also needed to be saved from the hotel to which everyone was and agreed how amazing the meal was. Thank you for making some of our holiday something to remember and smike for :) definately worth every penny.

This is just up the road from the main pubs in malgrat de mar, but its worth tje visit, great value for money, food is a decent standard and they sell loads of British style food, there range of drinks are brilliant and varied, the staff will make you feel more than welcome.

Dropped into papas for breakfast it was lovely great bacon as our hotel food was not great in the oasis park splash so went back at night for dinner had a steak it was nice didnât stay after dinner so canât comment on entertainment nice pub and staff

First time back in Pineda for over 30 years and loved it, this pub was a gem of a find, made to feel very welcome from the minute you sat down, lovely friendly staff, drinks spot on and very good prices too, never waited long to be served and loved the way they remembered your choice of drink on your return visit :) will definitely be going back and will try the meals there as they looked amazing. Well done to all on running a very friendly place x
