Reviews on Mediterranean food in Barcelona, Province of Barcelona, Spain. Nestled between the Mediterranean coast and the colossal Montserrat, Barcelona's deep historical roots stretch through the ruins dotting the city and the local culture and Catalan language. You'll feel you're traveling through time, whether you're watching popular events such as the colles castelleres (human pyramids) and sardanes dances, or walking narrow, maze-like streets and broader boulevards. Stroll from the Gothic Quarter through Passeig de Gracia, where Roman ruins, Gothic cathedrals, and remnants of the Spanish Golden Age and the Civil War stand side by side with surreal and modernist structures by Gaudí and Domènech i Montaner. Stop at any of the numerous restaurant terraces and enjoy traditional calçots and botifarra sausages, flavor-packed tapas, and fresh seafood. At day's end, treat yourself to a refreshing cocktail in one of the many Chirringuitos (beach bars) along the golden beaches embracing the sea.

Totaly 5/5 experience! Weâve been all around the Italy and had all possible pizzas and this was absolutely one of the best ones. Higly recommend Marinara that defines quality of the pizzeria. Suberb!

Somewhere Café is based on the concept "from somewhere to Somewhere", that is, we offer the client a complete experience that makes him feel for a while on a trip away from his routine offering a gastronomic adventure with dishes from different parts of t
After arriving to Barcelona we entered Somewhere to have some lunch. The place was fully booked but an extremely friendly waitress arranged a table for us. Restaurant is nicely decorated, relaxed and cozy. We ordered a veggie burger and pork burrito. Food was tasty and innovative and although it was a busy day we did not have to wait too long. Price for two dishes and two beers + water was about 24 euros, not bad. Special mentions for a most friendly and efficient service. Great place!

Unique in Spain, Teddy's serves "saj" sandwiches baked on the spot.. The fresh dough is hand rolled, spread on a cushion, and slammed on a hot convex griddle. While cooking, the bread is topped with unique, fresh and artisanal ingredients. he house specia
We got done with a walking tour and used TA to find a good restaurant nearby. This place makes amazing wraps. My only advice is not to eat and walk as my husband ended up wearing meat juice because he was too tempted to try it and began eating it before we found a bench.

Tapas restaurant placed in Sant Antoni area of Barcelona. Restaurant with an open kitchen, high tables and terrace. *We don´t accept bookings, you just need to come and ask for a table at the entrance.
This small restaurant on an unassuming corner had the most amazing food. It had been recommended by a Barcelona local in Brisbane, Australia and certainly did not disappoint. All of the staff were friendly and accommodating of English speakers. The food was fresh and beautifully presented and was the best we found on our 9 week trip. So much so that we went back a second time.

Welcome to the healthiest choice around the Sagrada Familia. We are offering in our cozy Italian Cafè, Illy coffee, salads, sandwiches, wraps and tapas along with a great drink list with Sangria, international wines and beers selection . Come in and enjoy
Best food in Barcelona! Of course perfect pasta (Italian owners), but every food item and sangria were PERFECT! Only seats 26, but great for any small group, and only one block from Sacrada Familia. Got in and out in 45 minutes. My wife is a picky eater and loved everything.

Holidays from 14th of April until 4th of May. Catalan cuisine madre with organic and localy-grown products. We emphasise on the "Mar i Muntanya" (sea and mountain) concept by developing a haut-cuisine menu that is served in an informal and welcoming atmos
Went for lunch had to book ten days in advance which we were give a place at the bar.Starters were great especially the crowqetas and the organic tomatoes salad. The other dishes like the quails was too salty which the waiter agreed to.In general food was ok but the place was quite dirty especially the bar where you see cleaning liquids mixed with wine bottles and worst to see the bar man mixing old wine bottles into each other to serve to customers.I would not visit again and all the hype is not worth it.

This has to be one of the best pizzas weâve ever had! The crust is crispy yet light and chewy, fresh mozzarella and delicious simple sauce with a hint of fresh basil!! Excellent price, taste and fast. Friendly wonderful staff! And even Peroni beer! Perfecto!!!

HI! Welcome to Eixampeling Brunch Café & Bar, Barcelonaâs best new brunch and drinking spot. At Eixampeling we want to share a unique and genuine space where the passion for honest and healthy food with international flavors is available all through the d
The good first: It looks nice, the food is pretty, the waiters are very friendly and the shakshuka had a good flavour. The orange juice was good too.The bad: It's painfully slow (I've been eating brunch most of my adult life, this place is slowwwwww) The food is really not very good. My eggs were seriously undercooked. I love a runny yolk so that's good but the white was jelly. My boyfriend had eggs benny and his eggs were also undercooked. The hollandaise was not a hollandaise, it was like someone blew their nose on his eggs and the muffin wasn't toasted, in fact it was cold...and no potatoes...boooo. Much better brunch round the corner at Ugot or OmaThe waiter did ask me if I enjoyed my meal and I said yes because I knew I wouldn't be back and I find it awkward to complain there and then (my own fault)Dear Tasha438,Thank you so much for taking your time to review Eixampeling Brunch Café and Bar. We thank you for your feedback because only constructive criticism help us improve our services. We advice in the menu that our food needs its preparation time, hence the good flavours and quality of the product. We always inform our guests this is not a fast food restaurant so if you are on a rush better come another day for yummy brunch. Queues are common during the weekend and waiting time may differ but its normally about 30min. Thank you for complementing our decoration, our food presentation, the flavour of our shakshuka and juice. We understand you may not like the way we cook our eggs, but this is the first time we receive this kind of critique, we will try to improve. Related to the hollandaise sauce.. your comment is not very nice.. we give you 2* for that. Our guests normally ask for extra sauce because they like it so much. It is sad that you do not comment the issues you encountered during your visit at the time so you give room to rectify at the moment..thats when we as business grow more, feedback there and then. In any case, thank you so much for your visit, we encourage you to visit the restaurants that you like the most.

Oliver was our host and recommended fantastic dish! Loved the experience, very different to the other restaurants as there are no menus. The food was excellent and the atmosphere of the place was also wonderful. We were lucky we like to eat early so there was not many queue when we arrived around 7pm, otherwise the wait can be long as the space is small. A must in Barcelona!!

We were two couples that dined here for dinner. The atmosphere was very pleasant & the seating quite comfortable. Unlike other nearby places, it did not have a loud bar atmosphere. We all ordered something different for dinner and everything was very good, made with fresh ingredients and served hot. We even attempted to return the next evening for dinner to try other dishes but it was fully booked. And the only reason we did not give this a 5* is because our waiter was grumpy & didn't appear to like 'tourists'.Dear MisssFit,Thank you very much for choosing CentOnze Restaurant and for taking the time to share your valuable opinion with us. We are delighted to read that you had such a great overall experience and that our quality and facilities met your expectations. However, I am disappointed to see your comments about our associates. Please rest assured this is not indicative of our usual high standards of service and we will be investigating this situation further. It is great to know that you enjoyed the atmosphere of CentOnze Restaurant. Despite being in the most vibrant street of the city, guests can enjoy a tranquil evening enjoying the view. We are also proud you liked all of your food choices. Our Chef Luis R. and his team combine local and international dishes basing his cuisine on slow food technique in order to provide a unique experience to our guests. As you noted, they source the fresh ingredients directly from La BoquerÃa Market, just a few steps from the hotel.Once again, thank you very much for choosing CentOnze restaurant and for sharing your feedback with us, we hope to welcome you back again very soon.Kind regards,CentOnze Management team
