It is not easy to find a restaurant in this region of Spain with relevant web page information in several languages useful to the non native. This one is excellent and it seems to be kept up to date. They have traditional items with a modern twist. Their carpaccio of pigs feet is an excellent example, original to a classic recipe as were the pork cheeks. Their kid goat shoulder moist and tender oozes flavor. They have an extensive wine list and offer some in half bottle. The atmosphere is good and the sound level very tolerable even with a full house. The service was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. furthermore they have the rarity these days of offering fresh fruit for dessert, a most welcome touch after a full Spanish meal. We have visited the main restaurants in town and overall this one is the best for a pleasant experience.Thank you so much for commenting and for such a generous opinion! We are aware that many people coming from other countries that may not speak our language or Spanish come to visit our region, and we want to communicate to everybody what we are and the work we do. By the way we are working in a new web page that will be even better than the current one, and of course translated in English too :)Cheers and we hope you come back to visit us soon!

We visited Lavern-subirats as part of a local horse carriage experience and knew that there was a Michelin restaurant in the vicinity. From the onset, the service was horrible. Our local guide helped to ask if there was a table (as we did not have reservations), the lady was arrogant and unresponsive. As the tables inside were full, we ended up sitting on one of the tables outside. There was five other empty tables outside, but she insisted that the table we sat on was reserved and we needed to move to the adjacent. The food was good and the fire oven was a nice touch; but the service was horrible. There were only two servers and they were very unresponsive. We needed the restaurant to call for a taxi for us and it took 25 mins for the taxi to come. When we chased for it (as we needed to catch a train/, they were very impatient and semi-ignored us. The taxi ended up charging us euro20 for a 4min ride, which his taxi meter shows for only 2.45euro. The driver got into an argument with us, citing that the restaurant had told him to bring us to a much further train station and we needed to compensate him for the distance he thought he should have travelled, even though he only drove for 4mins.Do not visit due to the poor customer service

I cannot give star rating to a menu venue, so four would mean great.Three delicious dishes from closed selection, great dessert and lovely cava (well, you do not get Reserva unless you pay for it, sure...), served with due diligence and speed. You gonna like it, a "must come back again place"!

It started with a nice welcome small glass of a good aperitive-cava. We preferred to eat "a la carte" and didn't regret at all. Both the starters and the main courses where well cooked and nicely presented. The service was more than correct. A place to go back to!Thank you very much, Philip P. We are glad to read your opinion and we will be pleased to receive you again in our restaurant. See you soon!

We are a restaurant located in the center of town, where we offer seasonal, organic and local produce cuisine. In the evening, you will enjoy the fabulous handcrafted pizzas and Catalan flatbreads, plus salads, meats, fish, and homemade desserts. We also
We spent six days in Barcelona and six days along the coast and today's visit to the cava capital allowed us to try this fantastic gem. It was one of the two best restaurants we dined at during this vacation. The waiter, who spoke quite good English, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us good advice and served us a free croquette appetizer with our fixed price lunch. The pictures tell the story better than words so please check them out. Lunch for four including two bottles of water and two Coke Zeros was 52 Euros so we tipped him generously.Hi there. We really apprecite your review about our restaurant. We keep working hard to become this hidden gem you aforementioned. It was a real pleasure to meet you.Yours,Xavi

Beautiful location overseeing the vineyard. Large room and good service. Unfortunately in our visit the food was average. We went for the degustación menu. First thing that surprised us was that the menu price is not inclusive: wine on the side, many mains and desserts come at an extra price. When the waiter comes, he goes over the different prices in the menu rather than talking about the food itself. We were five, we got 4 starters to share, nothing special and a main each, again nothing special. Desserts were well presented although my mint icecream was a decrepit ball. My family has been here before and they all agreed that this was the worst of their visit in terms of food.

Il Picarolo The restaurant is located in the town of Sant Sadurni d'Anoia in the county of Alt Penedes, surrounded by the best champagnes in the world. The menu consists of Italian dishes, pastas, carpaccio and pizza, but also all this is combined with it
We happen to pass by this restaurant on the way back to our car. Very conveniently located next to one of the large car park lots in Sant Sarduni. The atmosphere is simple. We have the impression it serves more a general mediterranean - Italian style food than Spanish. When we were there we had no reservation so we were invited to sit on the terrace. Luckily it wasn't freezing. I assume call ahead for reservation. The service was attentive seeing there so many waiters milling around. Food was alright. Wasn't great, but generous portions. Wines are good. They do have English menu.thank you very much for your comments, hope you enjoy a lot of our small town, our cuisine is a fusion of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with local ingredients is always better to call to make a reservation. We want to have a good memory of this land of wines and champagnes.Regards !

The spirit of wine, Cava and Penedes The enogastronomic restaurant Cal Blay vinticinc is located in a modernist winery from 1905. You'll can taste all of cellers from San Sadurni (over 120) and many other regions. The culture of wine and "cava" here is ho
First, I usually only write good reviews because I believe a tourist should get advice as to "where to go" versus "where to avoid" (but in this case I actually felt sad). Second, I speak Castellano (claro, no catalán), and I have visited Spain, Catalonia, and the Penedés multiple times in the past, so I do feel that I can offer honest and truthful advice. As a solo lunch customer, I felt "left out" of the whole situation. Yes, I was greeted with a glass of cava upon entering; a nice touch. From there I was taken to a table. Maybe it was because I didn't reserve beforehand, but I sat "in the back" and everyone else was "in the front". From there, I waited. Yes, Spanish/Catalan waiters and I know each other very well, so it is not a problem of cultural exchange. I ordered my food and asked for another glass of cava (the reason we are all here). That was at 13:30. My first course came and then I sat...until 13:50 when the app plate was cleared, and it was another five minutes before anyone brought the second glass of cava after I reminded the staff. The waitstaff was very busy with "other tables" (unnecessarily so) and seemed quite dispassionate about me. The restaurant offers wifi, but when I asked if it could be rebooted, as it wasn't working, I was told "vale". It was never rebooted. I just felt very defeated when I left. The food was...fine, but a little salty. The dessert, a mousse, was very nice. I just would suggest that for those prices, one never knows who that solo dinner may be, and I would hate for someone who doesn't speak the language or know the customs to have to feel like they are meant to be avoided. When I was sat a waitress came and opened a large bottle of still water without me asking, rather than waiting for me to order. Yes, I paid for it, and I would have preferred a small bottle, as it was just me. I just didn't like it was worth the effort in any matter. Dear Sirat first meny thanks for your visit. We don't seat anybody in the back office so our restaurant hasn't got it. We understand that our service be so fine except in the term of the wifi reset but you've to understand so that the first is serve the dishes.Normally we serve the water but we apologize if don't ask it to you. Many thanks for your words and hope to see you as soon as you back in Sant Sadurni, best wishes

Catalonian cuisine .......don't leave Spain without trying it!
La Cava dâen Sergi is a modern restaurant located in the town of cava in Catalonia (Sant Sadurnà dâAnoia). When we arrived she give us a great glass of cava (I think that it was Cava from Bertha winery) and it was fantastic (and I do not like very much Cava). We decided to taste some dishes with my family (we shared all dishes) and all was amazing! A restaurant very very very recommendable. We tasted the following dishes: snacks as starter, cream of vegetables, ravioli of seafood and masked potatoes with quail eggs, foie and mushrooms as first dish and trotters with Iberian ham and sauce as second dish, and a fantastic spherifications, which melts in your mouth, as a dessert. Also I tasted other dishes like octopus grilled or fish with sauce. All of dishes were great, fantastic, amazing! Moreover, we drank GesamÃ, a fantastic fruity wine. The place is very well decorated with a very beautiful furniture and interesting paintings. Moreover, the staff is very friendly. They talk about wines and caves with us, and they recommended us another very good restaurants and wineries to visit in the zone. Summarizing, for me the best restaurant in Sant Sadurnà dâAnoia, where you can taste a lot of fantastic dishes and cava.

Very well received by the chef and friendly service. We took the menu and all meals were very good with nice tastes, sometime small portions. It was crowded in the small restaurant and therefore very noisy, to the level of disturbing. Certainly something to solve. Nevertheless overall nice experience, although a little too expensive
