Service was very good, seating outside is super nice. Then the food ....... everything was just ok, to be honest there was nothing particularly special. Our main dish was so super expensive !! I think it has been the most over priced, smallest quantity main dish I have ever paid for in my life !! I was loving the place and ready to return again and again in the future (we thought we had found a special place) but the portion and price ratio means that we will sadly not return (to be honest we feel a bit taken advantage of, but we have learnt !!!) Try the restaurant (for sure you will like it) but be careful how you order and what you order!!!!

We stayed at the Hilton Barcelona after a cruise and was looking for a local authentic tapas place ... and we found it here. With the great TripAdvisor reviews we ventured into this neighborhood gem exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly, attentive and helpful. Menu with multiple languages and photos to make ordering easy. We ordered 7 dishes and a sangria con vino ... and walked away happy and satisfied ... and under 90 euros. Thanks for adding to our great Barcelona memories! Muchos Grà cias!

We thoroughly enjoyed both food and hospitality at this restaurant off the beaten path. Donât expect to speak English, but they are kind to let you practice your broken Spanish or Catalan. You come for the paella, get a multi course meal. The apple apertif at the end was also very refreshing. Wonderful people. No snobs allowed...this is a more rustic cafe, not a white linen establishment.

This was a wonderful experience. The staff were amazing - they walked through the entire menu, made recommendations, discussed the wine options, and just made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The place is very small - definitely make a reservation and try to align to the Spanish timings, much livelier at 9PM vs. 7PM. We saw many people turned away for the evening due to it being fully booked. Highly recommend trying any of the specials - change frequently - and the red wine from Mencia. Our favorites were the Cocninita Pibil and the Tuna Tartare. Entire meal was quite affordable, including a bottle of wine and espresso to close. Amazing night out!

We visited Barcelona this summer, and chose the Picknick Premium after visiting Park Guell. Good quality food, at obvious a wonderful location. I liked the fact that PICNICBCN uses recyclable material. The food was of good quality, the bread was from that morning, and the Jason was how Jamon should be. Went here for a business lunch and had the best meal of my entire trip to Barcelona this time. Excellent service - the waiter recited the entire menu in English - that was attentive without being _too_ attentive.It's only a fixed-price menu with a good choice of starters and mains. I opted for potato soup as a starter and entrecote for the main, both of which were amazing. Top it off with a small slice of lemon tart and you have the perfect meal. Definitely go there if you're in the area.
