We really enjoyed this quaint , artistically decorated hotel. Room was small but clean and comfortable. It had a fridge and free bottle of water. Staff very friendly and helpful. WiFi was excellent . Walk out the door and you were in the old town. The indoor market almost next door, the out door market in the square meters away. Surrounded by tapas bars and life.

Contemporary and comfortable, El Hotelito is a small 3-star hotel with 14 rooms and a meeting room in the country, 1 1/2 hours (100 km/65 miles) west of Madrid. Personal attention is key at El Hotelito where English, Spanish, French and Danish is spoken, and pets, from a canary to a horse, are welcome. Environmentally friendly without renouncing modern convenience, El Hotelito offers a pleasurable and comfortable stay for travelers of all tastes.
This was our first time back to El Hotelito since the pandemic, and it was a pleasure to know that Christina, Cándido and their staff have more than met the challenge. We have little to add to previous comments. However, golfers may wish to try the local public course. Nine holes, in a challenging design and a beautiful setting. We look forward to our next visit.

This place is worthy of more than 2 stars. Very clean, very spacious, very fast wifi and centrally located. Beds are absolutely excellent feels like sleeping on a 4 star hotel. Although it's on the old town, it is very quiet. Complimentary coffee and cakes and breakfast and to top it all, Diana and Laura make your stay in this small even better - they are very helpful and personable. Laura, don't forget to make that bread ?

Located in the old Jewish quarter of the town of Arévalo and next to the church of St Domingo, The Five Lineages Inn offers visitors a new concept of luxury and a return to history. The name of the Five Lineages dates back to the founding of the town: Arévalo, recognized in its entirety as a historic-artistic heritage site. The grand old house, built on the 13th century foundations and which had its maximum splendor in the early last century, has been entirely restored retaining the spirit of the times and keeping the original elements. Every room has been tastefully restored, adding modern touches which contrast in perfect harmony.
We stayed here for one night in October. According to the comments on Tripadvisor we expected a little more. We got a room on the top. The room was small with no tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom was small. The sink was in the room, separated from the bed by a glass partition. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable, but it was very disturbing noise from the road -Saturday night! The hotel is great building with nice decoration and very beautiful wooden stairs to the first and second floor. Dining room for breakfast is located on the beautiful covered inner courtyard. Breakfast was delicious with many choices. Free parking is possible in the main square - near the hotel. In Avila we were on Saturday, we were disappointed by the town, it was very boring. The only event was an evening mass in the church in the main square. Yes, and in the tapas next door sat some people watching a football match. Overall a wonderful building and it is ok for short stay.

I can't understand how this place has got such a good score !!!!! Yes the location is perfect but other than that it is a very basic little hostal. The rooms are small, the beds like slabs, the pillows are bricks and the bathroom was just big enough to turn around in. We could clearly hear people in other rooms talking and the noise from the shower next door was horrendous. On top of all that we booked and paid for breakfast only to be told they were not serving breakfast

The staff were very friendly and 40 Euros a night is a really good bargain. It was a pity that the restaurant was closed on the day I stayed. In the morning even if I was too early compare to the opening of breakfast they still offer to make me coffee and something to eat.

Availability of two small rural hotels in the center of the town of Candeleda, on the southern face of the Sierra de Gredos, next to the Tiétar Valley and the Vera region. Located in the center of town, where the old town begins. All rooms with bathroom, heating, air conditioning, television and wireless Internet access. We also have a full rental rural house (LUNA) for 1 to 5 people, in the countryside one step from town.
There are many things that I would like to highlight about this accommodation: First of all, the hosts: Luis and Ana proved to be not only super welcoming and kind but also extremely helpful and professional. Upon arrival, we told them what we wanted to do and experience in and around Candeleda and they listened to us carefully to later give us a series of fabulous recommendations that made us have a truly memorable stay in the area. They were able to understand exactly our travel style, the type of places that we enjoy and what we were looking for and they were absolutely outstanding travel advisors. Second, the accommodation itself and the check-in process: On the day of our arrival, Luis and Ana texted us to ask what time we thought we would be at the accommodation. We replied and they arranged for a super smooth check-in with great attention to detail. It was a very hot day so they turned on the air conditioning in our room in advance so it was nice and cool for us upon arrival. The room itself was impeccable, convenient and something very important for us: with great low level lighting! There were many lamps with warm light bulbs so it was cosy and relaxing at night. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets nice and crisp! Third: Candeleda and the Sierra de Gredos: paradise! This is remote area in central Spain of stunning natural beauty, small off-the-beaten-track towns and villages and rivers of crystal-clear waters. We very much enjoyed the simplicity of the local lifestyle, the ambiance in the main square in the evening and the local food too!
