This is an excellent restaurant with great food and excellent service. Unfortunately the night we went they were also catering a wedding reception and I think that the staff were a little stretched. However, the food was excellent.

I happened upon this Charming Bar - Restaurant whilst driving through Boglietto, I noticed beautiful flowers in front of this roadside restaurant.Once inside I met two great hosts who looked after our every needs. My niece ordered Vitelli Tonnato and I my usual Spumante from the region. The Menu arrived and although quite a small variety they all sounded wonderful. I had the Devine Russian Salad with prawns followed by Gnocchi with cheese sauce and my niece has a vegan risotto zucchini, she isnât vegan but the guys told us they were the only place to offer some vegan dishes. The presentation and tastes were outstanding - freshly cooked and delivered with a smile. It was a really good experience all round lovely food great atmosphere they have thought about everything even down to Lilac loo rolls.I will definitely visit again ,

This nicely decorated restaurant is located below the Historic town in the village. The restaurant serves a broad menu of Italian dishes but pizza is its main serving. Our pizza was excellent with a crunchy crust and soft interior. The toppings were a little on the light side, but adequate. We also ordered an solid and grilled vegetables, that were both good. The sizes of all three items were adequate for two people. Another plus was the English menu. The price for all three items plus a large beer, soft drink and bottle of water was just over 20 Euros. Please note that they also have an active carry-out area. The young waitress we had was also a great plus. She was very polite with a constant smile. All in all we had an very good meal and intend to back again before we leave. I strongly recommend Il Camino to anyone in the are of Alba.

My pizza and Picky Partner's mixed grill were the largest serves we have ever had! We could only get through half and the kind staff packed the rest for us to take home. My pizza also had the most topping I have ever had. Overall, great - and generous - food, kind wait staff and great value. Definitely recommend and we would be happy to return.

Ristorante Pizzeria, Cucina Sarda E Piemontese
I know I've reviewed this place before but today we popped in for a quick simple lunch that is advertised outside as "menu di Lavoro" for â¬10. I chose the mixed antipasto (tuna wrapped in ham, russian, salad, mozzarella with tomato & a white bean salad) followed by fusilli with courgette and little tomatoes. My wife had a salad of porchetta and lettuce followed by grilled sea perch with green beans). A glass of Paitin 2011 dolcetto which was surprisingly not showing its age and it was the perfect light lunch.

My husband and I spend a month in the Cuneo region of Piedmont each year. We make it a point to have lunch several times each trip at Peperone Rosso because we love their pizza. Many Italian pizzerias do not serve pizza at lunch but at Peperone Rosso there is "pizza a pranzo" every day. In addition to a large selections of pizzas, there are many other dishes on the menu plus daily specials. The daily specials are written on a chalk board. Our Italian friends had a fish soup which they said was excellent. In fact, after we introduced them to Peperone Rosso, they returned again on their own. The restaurant is very casual and it is clearly a neighborhood restaurant. It is popular with the locals which is always a sign of a good restaurant in Italy. Peperone Rosso is run by a married couple. The husband cooks and the wife is in the dining room. They are both very friendly and will cheerfully accommodate a request to add or remove ingredients in a dish if it is at all possible. We communicate in my limited Italian and I do not think much, if any English, is spoken by the owners. However, on our most recent visit, the wife proudly showed us a new menu with English translations. Peperone Rosso is a simple, family-owned restaurant serving good quality food and excellent pizza at reasonable prices. In nice weather, there are a few tables set up for dining on the sidewalk out front. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and my husband and I felt at home on our very first visit. Now we always look forward to our next "pizza a pranzo" at Peperone Rosso.
Pizza buona grazie ad un impasto semplice e i prezzi sono nella norma. Meglio prenotare i posti perchè la pizzeria dalle 20 in poi ha caos. Consiglio anche la frittura di pesce.

Hidden away deep in wine country is 'Birrificio Citabiunda' - a beer loverâs paradise surrounded by rolling hills packed with vineyards and quaint Italian villages. Marco is the man with a plan and the brewer of a number of fine beverages, each with a quirky name and a funky design. Sit yourself at the bar and peruse the shiny taps and their logos. You might want to work your way along the taps sampling Marcoâs delicious beers before declaring your favorite â but be warned! Some of the tasty tipples pack quite a punch and may be a little stronger than your usual brew back home. âCinnamon Girlâ was a winner for me! A 5.7% pint of pure deliciousness. It was the closest of all his beers to a British style ale. Marco I salute you! Among the other beers I tried was one called âBlack Rebelâ. Marco said he was at home eating After Eight Mints when he had the idea for this beer. It is made with cocoa and mint so I was a little dubious. It's a strong dark stout that surprises you with such a deft, subtle touch of mint in its after taste. I bow down to such greatness! I thoroughly recommend this place.
