This is not a tipical restaurant, there is music videos on the walls, the dining room is very big and in fact the presentation correcty states lounge. Not a restaurant and not a pub. The service can be better as well as the dishes. The decomposed burger (nice idea, all the components not assembled) had the meat quasi burned. The hot sauce was good. The beer wonderful.

We were looking for the best pizza restaurant near by our house and think we found it. Very busy, but the waiter was running to please all the tables that filled quickly. Our table tried several different pizzas. Everyone gave thumbs up and agreed that we had to get back, and we did. We were even more satisfied the second time. Next time we have to try their bbq mixed dish. It looked great. Expect a loud and friendly atmosphere. And great value.

2min walk from the main piazza of Asti, you need Google maps to find it, and don't be scared by the entrance, nor by the decoration (which is inexistent). Real good pizza's baked in a wood oven. Fresh, crispy and made in no time. Great place for a quick lunch, friendly staff and cheap prices.

For nearly six years, after our Saturday morning shop in Asti market, we have gone for a pizza at La Duchessa. Situated on the north side of Corso Alessandria about two thirds of the way between the big roundabout at the end of Corso Alfieri and the next roundabout on Corso Alessandria, if you blinked you would miss it. La Duchessa functions primarily as a take-away, but it also has a small eatâin section with four to five stools. The choice of pizzas is immense. Only Italian (and dialectic) are spoken, but sign language has been known to work a treat. If you are lactose intolerant and concerned about contamination, Antonio has it sorted. It is hard to spend 15 euros for two pizzas and a beer; in fact you probably will have some change. Save for Monday, open for lunch and supper. Two to three weeks off for a much deserved annual holiday round Ferrogosta â it is too hot to make pizza in August. Plenty of foodie magazines and books to peruse while you wait â La Duchessa is much favoured by Gambero Rosso.

This is a great place to have lunch in Asti. Our pasta dishes were tasty & we tried & enjoyed the 3 beers (bit expensive though) on their menu.

The restaurant "La Carrozza" is located in the premises of the former railway station of Serravalle d'Asti, where once travelers heading to the city were waiting for the train. It takes only 5 minutes from the town of Asti to find, nestled in the quiet co
We were so impressed that we returned for an equally stunning experience for a second night. The foods are freshly prepared so you need to be prepared to wait for their arrival - you will not be disappointed. The linguini, pizzas & especially the steaks are absolutely delicious. I have not tasted such steak before this second night's visit - succulent, tasty & so perfect. The staff are friendly & happy to advise on wines if you are uncertain of what local vino is suited to your menu choice. The railway theme is both novel & fun. Locals eat here & without doubt it is popular & deserves a strong following. AN EXCELLENT FIND - well done indeed & thank you.
