Nestled in the enchanting surroundings of the Monferrato vineyards - in what was the former Limonaia of the monastery - and inspired by such concepts as authenticity, seasonality and experimentation, La Locanda del Sant'Uffizio Restaurant delivers an unfo
We had lunch in this restaurant of the Relais Sant'Uffizio with some friends. The food was exquisite and very tasty. We had gnocchi with Seirass cheese, then pork with mushrooms and a peach frozen mousse for dessert. Service was excellent. And the place is beautiful.Dear Petrus61,we are glad you had a great lunch at our Restaurant Sant'Uffizio.we thank you for your appreciation and we hope you will come back in the future to taste other delicious dishes.Best regards,

The restaurant is lovely; tables are comfortable and not too close together. Nice restaurant for an evening of quiet conversation. As always, the antipasti were delicious! Recommend the involtini melanzane and the tortino con carciofi--different dishes and delicious together. Unfortunately our primi dishes seemed slightly off this evening--tajarin with asparagi e guanciale (too smoky?!); gnocchi con pomodoro e basilico (a little too soft and bland). Always recommend a good bottle of Roero Arneis! We definitely recommend this restaurant--but with a little caution.

With a couple of friends trying to drink a glass of wine we were waiting a long time for our first glass. The second one was a real disaster. Waiting more than a half hour before any reaction and being told that locals were served before tourists in a very offensive and arrogant way. Than we were invited to leave since we pretended a professional service. Nice ambiente but never again. GENTILE SIG.

UvaSpina Restaurant in Moncalvo , an intimate and cozy dining room decorated in a country chic style and offering a breathtaking view on Monferratoâs hills from its large glass doors. A chance to appreciate the richness of the local cooking and the unique
Were there recently for lunch and dinner while staying at hotel Spinerola. Very nice and cosy restaurant with excellent food and wine. The restaurant was rather pricey compared with other restaurants and for dinner we couldn't eat outside due to lots of gnats. In the heart of Monferrato, on gentle hills recognized as a Unesco heritage, surrounded by vineyards and hazelnut trees of the property, in the manor house of the early eighteenth century, the farm La Quercia Rossa ensures a âfamilyâ welcome in a warm and
Our group of 8 had six meals here (three were breakfast) and not one single dish disappointed. Pasta with truffles was wonderful; so was the risotto. Veal excellent. Local vegetables great. Don't miss the dessert.

No highlights, apart from the beef tartare. We had a choice of entrees, including the white truffle tagliolini (â¬50), and a few different mains: the "bollito" was excellent but any other dish has shown no surprises. Wine is what you may expect from the Region, and Barbaresco is always my favorite. Service quite slow, bill tangible.

Bit of a search to find this but a real gem that is quaint. Compact restaurant but great food and friendly service. Arancini were great as were mixed meats, pizzas were outstanding. Well worth a visit and great value too.

We discovered this place while visiting the Gabiano castle and we were surprised by the sophistication of this place. We had a very pleasant apperitivo on the terrace. The sunset view was excellent. So bad we didn't have more time to taste the food there. Maybe next time.
