We had high hopes, after reading about the fried olives and even seeing a segment on it on a BBC show, we came away somewhat disappointed. The olives were good, just not as stupendous as we had expected. We also ate lunch inside, but both the porchetta and the roasted chicken were too dry, and sadly could have benefitted from some sort of sauce to keep them moist and tender. We really wanted to like this obviously well known establishment, but it just didn't make the grade for us. Maybe a safer bet to try one of the many cold salads on offer. Also, the business about ordering your food at the counter, then choosing a table that is either marked available or taken, or was that choosing the table first and then ordering? - not well explained or executed. We could see from locals that even they didn't follow any typical procedure. It's quirky to be sure, but even so, had the food been better, it wouldn't matter one iota.

Lots of helathy choices served with big smiles in a kind of strange format. I was looking for a light dinner after a massive lunch and decided to go here for a salad, since I was staying upstairs at the Palazzo. The salad came in a plastic box with to-go cuterly and packets of dressing, even though I was eating there and having wine. Everyone else's items came in to-go boxes too. It was a little odd, delicious and very affordable and my server couldn't have been nicer, so I was fine with it. In my home town of San Francisco, that big, yummy, fresh salad would have been $10-$15; it was was around 5E here.

We were visiting from Australia and had a lovely evening at this pub. The staff were really friendly and helpful with our limited Italian. Great food and wine/beer. Was lovely sitting outside.

Il locale sorge nel centro città a due passi dalla splendida piazza del Popolo. Offre tavoli sia allâinterno che allâesterno.Diverse le proposte per una cenetta un poâ diversa.Tante bruschette proposte con molta originalità è decisamente buone. Del buon vino e la serata è assicurata.Cortesia e buon servizio.
