A volte essere sulla piazza principale del paese può diventare decisivo per la fortuna d'un locale. Ed è proprio ciò che capita a Nonno Lele. La pizza è ottima, niente da dire, ma stasera le cameriere parevano cosi svampite da non azzeccarne mezza, né al nostro tavolo né a quelli vicini. Immagino si sia trattato d'una serata storta. Lo spero proprio!Però sono state cosi simpatiche che io ho perdonato loro tutto, anzi, ho lasciato anche una piccola mancia. Ma io ero in ferie e non avevo nulla da fare, quindi occhio!

Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo un sabato sera. Seduti all'aperto abbiamo osservato il passaggio delle persone e soprattutto gustato degli ottimi assaggi con il nostro aperitivo: salumi, acciughe, formaggi, specialità al bicchiere, ... . Servizio attento, consigli apprezzati, prezzi corretti ... un ottimo aperitivo!

I've visited this wine cellar late in the morning which is not the ideal time to have a wine tasting. The monastery invites you already not to skip a visit even if the time is not much. Actually the whole town centre is very pleasant especially when you arrive to the town hall square. In the cellar I've have tasted 6 local wines including the whites Passerina and Pecorino, a Rosso Piceno, a Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and 2 sweet wines.These last two were a real kick which i could feel while walking for the next hour in the heat of a summer day.Obviously it is possible to purchase any bottle they have in stock but also local specialities very worth trying.
