Been there a few times, with family & friends. Had a good meal every time. Tucked in the middle of a garden, nice atmosphere, friendly service.

Arrived late for lunch. Restaurant is under the railroad and near the beach. Lots of seating inside and outside. Service was prompt and efficient. Menu was comprehensive and wine list fair. Ordered two courses and a bottle of white wine. Courses came at a good pace and we thoroughly loved the experience. Cost was very reasonable. Walked along the coast after lunch. Highly recommended.

I've been twice to this trattoria during last summer. The first time I booked the same day driving from Abruzzo with my wife and a family friend, and on the second visit I was solo. Although it is called a trattoria, the table settings consist of tablecloth and a paper cover. There is an internal courtyard but we preferred seating inside near a window as it was a really hot day. We ordered several entrees, all well presented, full of flavour and including some dishes we had never tried before like the fish parmigiana. We skipped the pasta, and ordered a mixed seafood grill and a mixed seafood paranza (deep fried seafood). We sipped a very good Pecorino wine, organic, from Fiorano Estate. We discovered later on this wine had been awarded one of the best whites of the 2014 vintage. We enjoyed every mouthful, and our empty plates were full of shells or fish bones at the end. So we had no room for dessert, but at the end Massimo, the charming bachelor son of Domenico, offered us a round of Sardinian mirto liqueur. The total till came to 107 Euro, and it was worth every cent. The second time I only had the spaghetti allo scoglio, consisting of prawns, mussels and clams. It was excellent. The wine reduction sauce was the right texture, not too astringent or savoury. Amongst all of the clam and mussel shells there was no trace of sand, which sometimes you find in this type of dish. A table nearby with two couples from Rimini had the same dish and they were continually complimenting and saying there was no place like this in their home town. The meals here were the best seafood experience of the holiday. Worth noting, the trattoria is just outside the autostrada exit on the left hand side, with easy free parking nearby. So before stopping in any auto grill consider stopping here instead. Reservations are advisable.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. It's incredibly local - we ran into zero tourists - and seriously authentic Italian seafood. We took a group of 30 people here for our wedding and our entire group of friends and family is still talking about how much they loved it. Definitely go with the restaurant's recommendation and get everything they suggest. We were in love with every plate that came out. To this day, it has to be the best mussels and pasta we've ever tasted and all so fresh. Thank you so much, Marco, for a lovely experience.

This is one of those few budget hotels by the beach, certainly there are nicer and worser ones...Very easy to find, located along the highway, very huge parking place making this a favorite stop for truck drivers...Location: By the coast between Ancona and Pescara (the largest cities); it served perfectly as a base for our trips to Grottammare, Ascoli Piceno, Macerata and inland area.Hotel: We got a street view room with balcony (perfect to dry wet swimsuits!), average room size, basic. The tv was allocated at the top of the wardrobe, making it difficult to look at it. The bathroom in reality a wetroom, an open wetroom so bidet, toilet and sink get wet after a shower. The breakfast was served in the outdoor veranda (summertime) a serve-yourself mini buffet with yogurt, fruits, biscuits, juices; coffee/tea and a croissant is included but has to be ordered at the bar counter. Not the premium type, but eatable. To get access to the beach is necessary to walk through an under railway passage of max 1.5 meters height.Restaurant: We had some dinners here (full restaurant, recommend to reserve as gets full with the truck drivers) not extraordinary but reasonable food at good prices (clams & mussels 5.00; pasta with clams 7.00; pasta with seafood 7.00; fish soup 13.00).Pro's: Free use of gravel beach, free use of umbrellas and deckchairs, lots of parking, good service.Con's: Old structure, can be noisy in the nights because of the nearby railway and the highway. As per my title, a good place for summer vacations at a budget!

There are hundreds of eateries like this along the Adriatic coast, some good, some not so, is just a luck of the draw... We had some pasta dishes; a fresh grilled flatfish (17.00) and a bottle of local wine (16.00). Food was tasty and plenty, waiting time was slightly long since the place was full, in the meantime enjoyed the live music and the summer beach atmosphere.

It is very difficult to find a bad meal in Italy, so when someone says this place is extraordinary it rises to a whole new level of expectation. I recently celebrated my 60th birthday with family and friends at this restaurant. Nadia, the owner, is a friend of my cousin's and we chose the place based on her recommendation. My cousin was absolutely right when she assessed that upon entering the restaurant, we never smelled any kind of fish odor. This was the mark of an excellent fish restaurant. What struck me immediately were the pictures on the wall of the owner's visits to Togo to help orphaned children. Clearly the owner's dedication to doing good works transcends into her love for fish gastronomy. We had a large party and the servers managed the orders smoothly and professionally. The memorable dishes were the swordfish and the shrimp with zucchini cream sauce. On our second visit we had a platter of grilled fish that rivaled the platter of roasted fish from our first visit. I cannot tell you which fish were on the platter because most of them are unfamiliar to me, an American, but I can tell you they were all fresh and expertly prepared. My sister is not much of a fish eater so she had the ravioli which were heavenly done in a light tomato sauce. She also truly enjoyed the ginger lemon yogurt dessert. The white house wine was perfectly paired with the fish dishes. I happened to really like her blue glass under plates which I was told she can no longer buy. If you get a chance have the owner tell you something about your horoscope because she is an expert in this field. I enjoyed our meal and I am certain you will not be disappointed by the choice. This restaurant left a memory I will not forget. Thank you Nadia and staff for a wonderful meal.
