Villa La Mucchia is positioned near Cortona in the heart of Tuscany, the town that became famous after the book and the movie “Under the Tuscan sun” by Frances Mayes. The Tuscany authentic style vacation house, originally built in 1760 is placed at the foot of the town of Cortona, which is an excellent spot for short day trips, because of the short distance to most of the cities around, such as: Montepulciano, Assisi, Florence, Siena, Perugia, the Lake of Trasimeno and Castiglione del lago, Pienza (Unesco heritage town) and many others. Within less then hour drive you can reach most of them. The holidays farmhouse, which was converted to suites hotel, is currently divided into seven luxurious individual apartments, in authentic Tuscan style, bounded by lawns, gardens, olive grove and other seasonal crops. The property includes parking, a children's play ground, splendid swimming pool surrounded by nature and views, sun terraces with views of Cortona city of Art.
This was our second stay at La Mucchia. My wife and I traveled with another couple and we were there for nine days. The rooms were first rate and our package included breakfast and dinner - prepared expertly. The hosts, two brothers and their wives, were terrific and provided transportation to beautiful locations such as Florence, Montepulciano and Sienna. We learned a lot of the culture and our hosts were very interesting and informative about that. I highly recommend La Mucchia to anyone interested in a great vacation under the Tuscan sun!

I stayed at Borgo San Pietro in April last year and it was nothing but amazing ?? This place is like a glimpse of a movie set, the garden smells divine from the wisteria in full bloom& the huge rosemary plants, cheerfull birds and the view of the Cortona up the hill in the distance is simply perfect! Room was big and super clean, Breakfast had many local produce on display and was all fresh and tasty. I felt lile the queen of the castle ? The weather was not warm enough to try the pool, but we will be back in summertime to enjoy this magical place. Grazie mille Borgo San Pietro ??Can't wait to be back.

Ventena Vecchia is located on a ridge, surrounded by cypress and olive trees and offers breathtaking views across the lush countryside of Chianti, the Arno valley and the forests of Pratomagno. Apartments The careful renovation of the historically grown buildings resulted in apartments of different layouts and individual charming features. They include open kitchen / living room and sleeping room furnished with exquisite antique and modern funiture, and are equipped with floor heating, safe box and satellite TV with flat or classic B & O TV. Wi-Fi is in all apartments and in the outdoor areas free of charge. Linen and towels in the color palette of the apartment are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pool area (with swimming pool of 5x13m), individual outdoor places or terraces invite you to relax and refuel your power and energy needed again for your business life. The location of Ventena Vecchia is perfect for the experience of Tuscany: The cultural cities of Florence (45 km), Arezzo (35 km) and Siena (60 km) are close. Also Montalcino, Pienza, Montepulciano, Cortona and San Gimignano are within easy reach of Ventena Vecchia. Many good and well-known wineries are in the nearby area. Outlets of known fashion brands like Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Zegna, La Perla, etc. are less than half an hour away. As the asphalt road leads up to the farm gate, Ventena Vecchia is accessible also for sportive cars. The (free) parking spaces are located on the private property.
Rolf and Beatte were great hosts, accomodating and attentive to our little group. Many thanks. The rooms all had their individual character with quality fittings and furniture. Lovely terraces and spectacular views over the Tuscan hills.

A unique farm. A special place for an unforgettable holiday. An entire village, available for your holiday in Tuscany.Tourism was born from the love for nature and for the perfect home.
Borgo Corsignano is an amazing wedding venue! We rented the Borgo for our wedding in August for around 100 people, and we could not be happier with our choice. The place is stunning with its historic stone houses, large art collection, amazing view of the valley, and all the activities that are available on site (2 pools, spa, tennis court, kids playground and more). The estate is very large with beautiful gardens making it possible to host wedding events in many different areas. Each of the stone house has beautiful rooms with high standards, and fully equipped kitchens which makes it very convenient to accommodate all guests. Our guests fell in love with the place and did not want to leave. Most importantly, Simona, the property manager, is the best. She was present for all our guests and went above and beyond to make our guests feel at home. We could not have dreamt about a better venue for our wedding. We highly recommend Borgo Corsignano to anyone that is planning a wedding in Tuscany!

Lodging in Tuscany, B&B with swimming pool, located only 45 km from Florence, Siena and Arezzo in the heart of Tuscany. Production of the finest and tasty olive oil in Tuscany.
Located in the Tuscan hills, this bed and breakfast was definitely a good choice. The rooms are super clean and spacious, the beds comfortable. There is free parking, a swimming pool, table tennis and a great outdoor area with seatings and tables. The owner, Erika, was lovely, friendly and welcoming. The place is very quiet and our room had a wonderful view on the hills. Recommended if you fancy an authentic experience and a simple stay.

Podere Casarotta is a XVIIIth century farmhouse in Tuscany which has been renovated in recent years, converted in holiday house with private swimming pool and divided into luxurious apartments for your holiday rentals. In the farmhouse there are six indipendent apartments for rent, each with one or two double bedrooms; the whole holiday house can sleep up to 20 persons. All the apartments are furnished in classic Tuscany style, and each apartment has its own kitchen (well equipped), bathroom and private garden outdoor. The whole property (Podere Casarotta farmhouse together with the Conca d'Oro farm) covers approximately 30 acres, mostly planted with olive groves that surround the farmhouse. The place was called from long ago the "Conca d'Oro" ("the Golden Basin") for its climate, particularly pleasant to people and beneficial to olive oil production. We still produce on the farm our high-quality, organic, tuscan extra-virgin olive oil! Podere Casarotta farmhouse, because of its privileged position in the very heart of Tuscany (and just 5km from the nearest town, Castelfranco di Sopra) offers a perfect balance between rest & relaxation and wandering around: the apartments of our villa will be your luxurious and comfortable starting point for visiting Tuscany! Whatever you are looking for: art, history, culture, parks and nature, wine and food routes, or just relax by the swimming pool in the silence of the Tuscany countryside, you will find them all at hand!
My daughter and her boyfriend (now her Fiance') rented the Podere Casarotta villa for the immediate family and friends to celebrate her birthday. It is situated at the top of a beautiful valley hugging flower bushes, olive trees, as well as, fruit ones. Well, what a pleasant and beautiful stay we had at this Villa. Historic, clean, beautiful swimming pool, and most of all the professionalism of management and staff. Simone, the ground manager, was accommodating and after a day or two, I felt that I have known him for ages. He is a terrific cook and a great entertainer with his stories and comments. Florence is about 30 minutes ride and there are close towns where you can grocery shop and eat at local restaurants. Thank you Simone and my hope is to return for another beautiful stay.

In the Heart of Tuscany, an Elegant and Exlusive Hotel de Charme in a Palace of the Tenth Century. Four Rooms/Suites themes inspired by the Legend of Our Four Maidens. Tasting of typical dishes, wine and olive oil. We can realize your desires. You will Spoiled and Pampered.
Staying in an European hotel in the countryside in winter can be challenging from a warmth perspective. Our room upon check-in was cold. The landlady was kind to provide a space heater. It was still cold the first evening for which the landlord offered to give us complimentary. He was very kind to do so. After the first night, the room warmed. The room is average size although the shower is tiny. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was basically continental. The owners and their daughter were pleasant and provided good service. There is a value issue though. 120 Euros per night in the off-season was excessive given the room, tiny bathroom, no common areas to lounge around and a mediocre breakfast. A fairer price would be 50 Euros. Would I stay here again? Not at 120 Euros and probably not at 50 Euros either. Would I recommend it to others? Yes at a fairer value as noted.

We rented the Villa for a week for a family of 29 people. We had lots of room to hang out together and then were able to retreat to our own apartments in the evening after cooling off in the beautiful pool The property is just as described with beautiful landscape, stunning views of Cortona and the mountainside and endless fields of sunflowers and olive trees. The Villa has the beautiful, rustic Tuscan feel with modern amenities, such as wifi, dishwasher, tv's, washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The owner, Isolina, was very welcoming and readily available to answer any questions we had about the property and excursions in the area. She even brought over some wine and olive oil that they produce, of which we purchased and were very pleased with. Our entire party was very happy with their stay in Fratticciola and would definitely recommend Villa LeGiare. We will definitely be back some day.
