Dopo l'escursione al Fumaiolo, decidiamo di fermarci a pranzo in questo ristorante pizzeria lungo la strada tra il Fumaiolo e Bagno di Romagna. Immerso nel verde con tavoli all'aperto, un bel prato dove potersi rilassare grazie a comode straie,un ruscello che rende l'atmosfera davvero idilliaca. Ottimi i ravioli con ragout di carne locale, grigliata mista alla brace, panna cotta molto buona. Il menù propone piatti romagnoli che invogliano e da provare sicuramente. Il servizio è veloce e la spesa proporzionata. Lo consiglio e ci torneremo.

You will not be hungry for long. This is the restaurant the Bigiarini family operate within their agriturism in the comune of Caprese Michelangelo.It began in a small dining room of their own home and tradition is honoured in the cooking. The basis of the family's business is the production of meat from the Cinta Senese old breed of pigs. They produce all their own prosciutto and salami. Also the pork itself is on the menu in the restaurant. Having chugged along serving a small number cognoscenti over the last few years, this season they have opened a much larger restaurant in the refurbished bath across the yard.The new room is spacious and light, with an attached large terrace where you can eat overlooking one of the finest views in the Tiber Valley.As for the eating, well of course it is substantial, but here you will find dishes that are not easily found anywhere else. Gabrielle's mother, a fine cook herself, has reached back into the past to present unusual ways of cooking the meat from their own production and elsewhere.Pasta, normally three different kinds is rarely dressed with the usual tomato sauce. The pasta itself, when green, is made with nettles. Ravioli can be green on one side, plain on the other. Tagliatelle is rolled out so thinly, just the way I like it, you can almost see through it.Even the house wine is more than drinkable, not always the case in the countryside round here. This part of the upper Tiber does not produce its own fine wines.I know this place well, having eaten here many times, and the new venture, moved me to write a review so that other Trip Advisor contributors can share the experience.Presently the restaurant is open from Friday evenings and through the weekend.Thank you very very much for your kind review, and for introduce our restaurant to tripadvisor!!Your enthusiasm, your beautiful words and your love for the italian cuisine are very important for us, and encocourage us to improve our work and to love even more what we do.Thank you again!!!

We stopped here for a quick refuel whilst cycling from Anghiari to Chuisi della Verna. For such a remote place there was a surprisingly good range of small pastries, pizza and sandwiches with good coffee (although you do need to order 3 coffees for 2 people if you like Americano but at 1 EUR each that's not a problem). The only thing that put us off were the tables and the ground surrounding the tables, covered in cigarette ash. The owner could do with wiping down the tables and sweeping under them as you wonder if the place is clean (even though it otherwise seems to be).
We were driving on the road when we saw this place. We stopped to get some pizza. It was the best pizza we had during our entire two-week vacation in Italy. The staff was so friendly and nice. We asked if they had wine, and she pulled out a bottle of her father's homemade wine. It was shockingly fantastic.This was one of those places that everyone desperately wants to find in Italy. Great local food, nice people, great prices. An absolute gem.

Nuova gestione, team giovane che avrà sicuramente modo di fare la propria esperienza. Purtroppo il servizio è stato molto lento, nonostante il locale non fosse affollato , le pizze per uscire hanno impiegato molto tempo. Lodevole che i ragazzi si siano resi conto della lunga attesa e ci abbiano fatto lo sconto, ma mi auguro vivamente per loro che riescano ad ingranare quanto prima.Diversi di noi hanno avuto qualche difficoltà a digerire la pizza .... lâimpressione è che lâimpasto non abbia riposato a sufficienza.

We have a small house nearby and always include Moro our list of favourite restaurants to visit. Their pizzas are legendary as is their spaghetti carbonara made the correct way with egg yolks only. It is very good value for money and always bustling with customers

After a long and exhausting day of walking the Pizzeria Michele offered a wide choice of typical, tasty simple food in a spartan, diner-like environment. We tried both, Pizza and Pasta, the portions were large, and the waitress friendly, even trying her best to communicate in our native language. A good place for dinner.
