We were trailing 6 hungry children at a sweltering 11.45 am, popped in here for some cold drinks, and ended up staying for over two hours. Whilst we relaxed at tables outside, the owners (who had opened early for us) brought a steady selection of cold cuts, cake, biscuits, drinks and coffee. It was simple, delicious and very, very friendly. One for the memory bank...

I had gnocchi with white truffle sauce which was sensational! We also had fried cheese as one of the starters plus a selection of Italian hams. All had the wow factor. The setting is in an authentic vault so no idea why they have added faux rocks! The rose heads on springs are interesting.

We went there twice for dinner, in August 2017, whilst on a family holiday in the area. In three words: Its always packed. By Italians it is, which is always a very good sign. The restaurant is on the side of the road, but this should not put you off: Its peaceful and quiet. The terrasse is lovely in the summer evening. This is a simple place, with Italian families (kids running around, people laughing loudly, entire families uniting for dinner, etc...lovely) and very rare tourists making the picture. The food is such that people are visibly happy to eat here. Dishes are simple but well executed: pasta is typical Tuscany (out of this world the "pici al ragù di cinghiale", the "penne al funghi porcini", etc..), and generous. The Pizzas are great and tasty with a nice thin and crunchy crust, typical for the region (the pizza crust tend to be thinner here than in Napoli I find). The wine list is very good, with lovely wines from Vino Nobile de Multepuciano, or Montalcino, and very reasonably priced. Service is good and people are smiling.Being a lover of Italian food, I recommend this place.

It is the 3rd time and come to this authentic Tuscan restaurant, so I can truly confirm how espetacular it is! Great service, simple place and... outstanding food quality! This time, after a delicious local Salumi (Antipasti) we ordered some amazing fresh Funghi Porcini, 800g of Bistecca Fiorentina (to share ;p). An unique opportunity to try authentic and delicous Tuscan cuisine... then, take some time to walk (and digest) in the lovely town of Monte San Savino.

On a recent September family trip to Tuscany, we had dinner here twice. Our party consisted of 6 adults and one 3 year old, and all of us were delighted with the food and service. With an extensive menu of classic and regionally accented Tuscan dishes, you could eat here many times and never be bored. Because of our youngest member, we dined early (6 p.m.) and mostly had the place to ourselves. The menu even featured wines from the Baldetti vineyard (also worth a visit). We also were charmed by our skilled waitress Fiore, mentioned in other reviews here. As has also been said, the view from the restaurant is spectacular. Note: Be sure you have a designated driver for your safe exit via the one-lane gravel road!

Food was very good and I would recommend it. We were the only people there at first (about 7pm) which meant it lacked some atmosphere. A big Italian family came in later and, not surprisingly, got the attention. Still, recommended if you are staying in Monte San Savino.

They have a barbecue station in the restaurant but still the grilled meat strangely smelled of gas a lot (like it was cooked on the gas stove). When i ordered the bistecca with rosmary they just threw raw rosmary on top of the meat, which justed tasted sharp and soapy (you want the perfume of grilled rosmary go into meat, not raw rosmary strewn over the meat). Sorry to say, but it's untalented cooking. Monte San Savino is an old little city, but dark and gloomy. Better go to Arrezzo.

I met up with some friends at this well-situated restaurant in the centre of Monte S Salvino. The service was poor - no English, could not understand âmustardâ/moutarda. The famous porchetta was served cold and there bits of tripe or so on the plate, strangely interesting! My porchetta, baked potatoes and a glass of wine cost about Euro 11.

Sit a mixed group of twenty or so around one large table and the ambiance is that of a big family gathering. Many different delicacies are brought to the table, a seemingly endless stream of tasty seasonal dishes, all prepared by Cristina who is passionat
Le Bindi is located in the historical heart of Monte San Savino, surrounded by the stone walls of the old decorated city with the beautiful narrow alleys which travel you back in time. The menu is different than the usual. The creativity of chef Cristina is undoubtfully incomparable. I have tried many times the Italian cuisine, only that tonight, everything I ate, from appetizers to soup and main meal were completely new tastes. The food was more than amazing, everything homemade and only seasonal vegetables used. I had red wine, typical of the region and one of the best I ever had. They have an impressive wine list and a cellar with a very big variety from which you can choose. Service was also excellent. Paolo was very helpful, attentive, and literally faultless. We were the only foreigners and he translated everything to us and made us feel very good. I donât have something bad to comment about the whole experience, I will only give you one tip: come as much hungry you can, this restaurant offers both QUALITY and QUANTITY!

This is (among other things) a great spot to take a lunch break when driving the A1. It's easy to reach, the food is excellent and it's cheap. We had good pastas (inc. vongole, as it was on the weekend) and tagliati.
