Locale carino,in pieno centro a Sansepolcro,in pietra e mattoncini. Pizza buona e ce n'è un'infinità tra cui scegliere, anche con pasta integrale.. Ottima la birra rossa alla spina,di abbazia belga. Personale gentile, prezzi nella media.

We stumbled on this place, after a walk through this lovely little town. It was great. The lamb with a pistachio crust was the winner but the beef with rosemary and juniper berries came close. The location is great- perfect to watch the passerby- and the staff were wonderful, especially louba. Thank you very much!

We had eaten there our last time in Sansepolcro fifteen years ago. We remembered it as a noisy place because there was a kids' birthday party going on, but the food had been pretty good. This time, my husband and I each ordered a "piccolo" steak. Big mistake. We got these monster steaks that cost a fortune since they were being priced by weight. When we asked the waitress about it, she said they were the smallest steaks they had. Seriously, these were the biggest steaks I'd ever seen. I could chalk this up to a miscommunication in translation, but it didn't feel that way. The restaurant might be fine, but I don't remember much about the food. Not a pleasant experience in otherwise wonderful Sansepolcro.

Our family ate here with friends who live in Sansepolcro, so this restaurant was well known to them, and their choice. We ate outside on a lovely warm evening - a great treat for us Brits! My octopus starter was wonderful, and we all rated the restaurant highly. Pleasant and friendly service added to a very successful meal. Thank you!

We first visited because of its proximity to the palazzo in which we were staying, plus the recommendation of a fellow traveler; and once we went, the pizza was so excellent that we never wanted to try any other place. Over the course of our eight-day visit, we tried several pizzas from the menu. Most fabulous of all was "La Sfonda," a rectangular pizza with two of the edges rolled like a scroll and stuffed with gorgonzola dolce and artichoke, with delicate, thin slices of pancetta, salami, and tomato. We decided that this was the most delicious pizza any of us had ever eaten in our lives. (If only I can find a way to replicate it!) Expect long wait times, however, during peak times. Can't wait to return!

Menu with rather limited choices, focusing on meats. House Chianti was a very good value. Service was efficient and quick by Italian standards. Not really a place that I would go back to. If you're an antique browser, there's plenty to see.

We don't eat red meat, which is a decided handicap in eastern tuscany, so we headed for dei Poeti where most of the menu is fish. We duly enjoyed our fish, with an excellent spinach salad and house wine, but a contorno of fried potatoes turned out to be frozen chips! Never mind. the meal was good despite this.
