Visited here twice over a week holiday in Poppi. The food is absolutely to die for. I had the tortelli de patate and the Mercurio pizza, and both were easily the best pizza and pasta dishes I had encountered in Italy. Food is ridiculously cheap also considering the fantastic quality of the food. One of the main reasons for returning other than the meals was the beautiful views surrounding the restaurant looking all over Poppi. Only reason I am not giving five stars is because the food did not come out at the same time so some people had finished eating when others food just arrived, and side dishes came out after our mains. Otherwise, a great experience. Would 100% return.

Perfetto per passare una serata con amici o un pranzo in famiglia,in un clima semplice ed accogliente. Il cibo buono e di stagione, ci sono già stato quattro volte e alla prossima occasione ci torno.

La pizza era veramente buona, pasto perfettamente lievitato, buona mozzarella. E' rimasta calda sino all'ultimo boccone ed è stata digerita perfettamente: non si è nemmeno bevuto di notte, nonostante si sia mangiata a tarda sera. Peraltro, prezzo modico!

Locale molto confusionario... Personalmente ho preso un panino che non mi é piaciuto (pane non adatto, costruito male), la pizza mi hanno detto che é migliorata ma non ha convito i miei amici.

This place was wonderful. The dishes are big and plentyful. We had the best pizza in all Tuscany, and the best veal tagliata. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have parking. I strongly recommend this restaurant.Grazie per l'ottima recensione da parte di tutto lo staff dell'Osteria Candolesi!!!
