We loved this place, very quirky, an amazing cocktail list, we only had a drink but the food smelt fabulous, very clean too.

Farm and wine estate in Tuscany serving several lunch options. Please call for details.
This was recommended by a friend and is well worth seeking out, it is a little way out of Castiglion Fibocchi and not well signposted. We were taken from the carpark to the buildings on an electric golf cart driven with typical Italian verve. Lunch was a nice selection of cooked meats and cheese served with a fresh salad and washed down with their own very reasonably priced wine.

This restaurant was recommended to us. However, although it was not busy - in fact it was completely empty - we were told it was full. A group of young men were hanging around the bar and we got the impression that the waiter would rather spend time with his friends than serve diners. It was 7.30. The restaurant is huge and we could see no reservation signs on any of the tables. We were made to feel very unwelcome and would not attempt to go there again. Readers of TA will know that I have posted many favourable reviews but not this time.

Wine and food are a pleasure and not a fashion
This small and wonderful place exists in the countryside of central Tuscany. The owners, Claudio and Luisa, both have an incredible knowledge of local wines and foods. They are willing to prepare small meals for bikers, dinners for families and late night cheese and meat platters for those wanting to experience small vintner Italian wines. Make sure if you are anywhere nearby to visit this lovely Cantuccio. For us it was a pleasure to have had you in our vineria

Typical Osteria of Centro Italia, located in the medieval village of Laterina. With a welcoming and warm atmosphere, it offers a rich variety of meats and cold meats to rediscover the tastes of true Tuscan cuisine.
This is a very nice place if you want a authentic, local experience! The food and wine was really good - especially the antipasti! We came in a group of 11 persons and the friendly owner made room for everyone. Highly recommend this place!!We wait for you again. thank you so much!Rrrrr

Really really nice restaurant, rafinated, with an beautifull localisation. The dishes are typical, really fine, but quite expensive. We were lucky to have a French-speaking waistress (a young Belgian girl who is really a good girl !).There is a last remaing warning to keep in mind : the chief is not in the kitchen...As soon you arrive in the restaurant, you can see many pictures of him. Maybe he his an important man in his collectivity, but the evening we went, one of the two usual cooker was unavailable, then the service was a little bit too long (we did not wait for the dessert). From my point of view, it would have be better for the restaurant that he spent the evening in the kitchen rather to look at the tables.

We stayed in a village 5 km away, this was worth a drive. Charming atmosphere sitting outside, the lady taking orders spoke english and we got to know her dog Diva, who kept us company from behind a fence (so she will not steal your food ;) ). We were a party of 10 and sat outside and we had a range of meals from the menu, from pizza with pear, cured duck and pecorino cheese to rabbit. All very good! Desserts were great too. This place felt very authentic and we enjoyed ourselves!

A small farm-restaurant immersed in the Valdarno countryside, near the Setteponti Road, a few kilometers from Arezzo. A simple menu made of selected dishes that change daily depending on what the land, the seasons and the short supply chain can offer. Onl
It is such a pity when lovely places like La Casa del Buono, are so poorly run and spoil a potentially good dinner. We came for dinner as a group of 9 during a week evening. The place was far from being full but nevertheless it took forever to catch the waitressâ attention to come and get our order and bring our drinks. The food came out of the kitchen so slowly that by the time we got the appetizers our drinks needed to be refilled and we were all ready to leave. Although the menu was creative and the food of good quality, the whole experience is one we would not want to repeat.

We visited here for Sunday lunch on the first day of our latest visit to Tuscany. The menu is typically Tuscan and the setting is very picturesque. There are many tables outside. We ate inside and had the ravioli / gnocchi with white truffle followed by the beef steak. Both meals were well prepared and tasted beautiful. With a glass of wine each and a coffee after the cost was very reasonable.
