A very well designed restaurant with a great attention to details. This is also mirrored on how the food is displayed with elegance and style, indeed. Be pleased with the wide range of natural wines selection!
we were a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids) and our dog. They accept and love dogs in this place, they brought her a water tray and complemented her many times. The menu is small and carefully chosen. There is and offer of 5 starters, 5 mains and 4 deserts. All of them look very tempting on paper and we are sorry we couldn't try them all. We had Burrata and Hareng as a starter and Meatballs, Home made pasta and braised beef as a main dish. They serve half portions for the kids. The service was attentive and extremely polite and professional. Food was delicious.Thank you Dave! it was a pleasure for us to meet you and your whole family! and we hope to see you in your next trip in Italy, maybe next year!? (your beautiful dog included, of course)See you

The place I know for quite a long time - I had stay in Fabriano longer and used to have dinner by Da Ivo. There are two or three dishes that makes them stand out for me - and I had them also this trip to Fabriano - so Canelloni - simply the best I had, I think mama makes them, never failed me! For the main dish - di Vitelo - great any time - man food! Also for the deset - try some made at home - simply try it. Wine cart - extensive - but advise from the staff, always very very nice and always worked well for me, I would avoid the home wine though - the cost of the battle is not much to worry.Overall the full dinner shall be in between 25 to 40 euro with drinks, serving, wine and amaro or grappa.Nice place - worth checking if you are in the area! Thank you Ivo and your staff.

I know this bar pretty well, and it's a little gem in this part of Italy. It's smart young owner Marius has made some great innovations that you'd be hard pressed to find even in big city bars - how many places can you name in Italy that will actually provide soya milk for your cappuccino? Most of them would just laugh in your face (I should know, because I've tried asking)! Plus he's got rid of the slot machines, plays some cool music over the sound system, and is always ready with friendly chat and advice. The bar also organises music and literary evenings which bring a bit of life to a town that really most of the time just can't be bothered. Outside seating means you can enjoy the lovely square and a cool breeze while the friendly staff bring you a good local wine and a tasty snack. What more do you want?grazie per la sua recensione e per le sue belle parole. spero sempre di migliorare e di riuscire a soddisfare più possibile richieste dei miei clienti!

Absolute folly, I thought, when I heard that the renovation work going on down our street was for a new wine bar, since there has been a small mushrooming of similar places in the area over the last few years. But then I heard that running the place would be the daughter of one of our townâs most respected restaurateurs, a man with decades of hotel & catering experience behind him, and I decided it might be worth checking out. And in fact Iâve now been checking it out about twice a month ever since it opened! The ground floor premises in an elegant old palazzo have been tastefully restored to give the atmosphere of a laid-back enoteca while service is in the capable hands of its vivacious manager and her hospitable chef/maître. There is a very light menu offered in three variations linked to number of glasses of wine, and despite his youth Matteo is showing himself to be a creative and ingenious cook. The food is fresh and delicious, accompanied by a variety of interesting wines, both local and from further afield. Itâs a lovely place indeed to wind down in the evening.

Let's begin by saying the personnel at this restaurant were welcoming, charming and likeable. But that's where it starts and finishes. The restaurant name translates as "The Pleasures of the Flesh"., and they specialise in meat dishes. I chose this place because it is rated #1 in Fabriano and was just around the corner from my hotel. I began with a Rollata - a type of roulade containing ham, cheese and vegetables. It arrived very quickly, and had that "uniform" appearance of being mass-produced in a food factory. There is no way this could have been made up in the kitchen and produced so quickly. The taste confirmed this; it had that unmistakeable blandness that we see so often in the UK with products supplied to Pubs and poor restaurants by the likes of Brake Bros. It had been reheated, I imagine in a microwave. (Later that evening I suffered a severe bout of indigestion with an acid stomach; during the night I was eventually sick. For sure this was down to the Rollata. For mains I ordered a Bistecca. In my experience this means a trimmed, bone-free cut of beef, grilled or pan fried, tender and juicy - maybe a sirloin, rump or entrecote. I was surprised to receive a cut that looked like a T-bone, with extensive amounts of fat. The fat was really gristle, and had that stale taste of old meat. This was not a Bistecca Fiorentina, as it did not include the Porterhouse cut which is essential to a true Fiorentina. It was really a Costata [or Chop]. The meat turned out to have come from Argentina, not for example from the famous Italian breed, Chianina. It was tough, chewy, and had undoubtedly been frozen at some stage of its life. It was truly dire. I had a nice bottle of rosso piceno with this, and frankly the wine was the only enjoyable experience. I don't know what your views are on animals in restaurants, but personally I am not a fan. A customer brought a dog in - well behaved I must say - and many of the staff stopped to pat it and have their hands licked by the creature. I watched a girl, having done this with the dog, go back to her bar station and continue to serve drinks without washing her hands. Same thing with a couple of waiters. Now, we all know where dogs' tongues have been! So, I ask you, would you let a dog lick your hands and then without washing go and prepare food for your children? I think not. For this reason I am even going to mark down the staff, although they were very nice people. If this is Numero Uno in Fabriano, I don't think I'll eat out again during my stay!

Yesterday we returned to "Nonna Rina" and her incredibly talented "nieces". Their menu is a feat of variety and flair, with recipes for all preferences and inclinations, including traditional, imaginative, and tasty vegan dishes. Their presentation exceeds all expectations. Having dinner outside made a further difference, we just loved our evening out!

Excellent food in a cozy atmosphere. Owners and staff very helpful with menu, especially for Americans who don't understand the ins and outs of Italian eating. The charcuterie and pasta were excellent, as good as we had in Italy. Great wine list. Interesting, historic building. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend for lunch or dinner if you're in Fabriano.
