Had the menu del dia, ok for value and the main of fritura de pescado was fairly good. Of the two starters, Lentejas was off so we had the stuffed peppers. Mine turned up lukewarm and very average. My wifeâs came five minutes later and was stone cold. After the main course we were asked if we wanted coffee, no mention of the included dessert. When querying this we offered a choice of flan or nattilla (basically just cream) which we declined. Service was awful, very slow and disinterested. Would never return.

Tapas Bar, focus in fish, with a good atmosphere and in front of the beach with beatifull views to Cago de Gata

Very classy food, particularly with the new special âAlmeria 2019â menu - they give you numerous (mainly fish and seafood) dishes from right across the menu. Even though itâs â¬48, itâs good value for what you get. Good atmosphere and knowledgeable staff - highly recommended.

A well kept secret for Almerienses, this joint could not be more secluded. It is located in a deserted beach by the airport, a rocky one, sorrounded by better ones ( Fabriquilla, Cabo de Gata,etc...). But the seafood and fish is plan awesome. Try the gambón ( quite expensive but well worth it) or the gallo pedro. Watching the fishing boats rigt out the window is just to die for. Not a tourist place. This one is for Almerienses, and pricey in Spanish standards. Go there for a full Almeria experience.

Close to the Almeria Airport, runway 25 lays "El Alquian", a little town near AlmerÃa City, and you can find there the best local fish and seafood. When you enter, Nati, the person in charge of the restaurant, shows you a lot of trays, each one with different kinds of fish or seafood, you must choose the one that you wish to taste an, fifteen minutes later you will experience "the sea over your plate".You can try any kind of fish and complete the menu with salad and squid cooked with olive oil (Calamar en aceite) and finish with 2 or 3 red pronds.
