Only called in for drinks- attractive terrace in prominent corner position. Very Spanish. Very informal. Rip off policy ?? It seems that the seafood platter is the standard tourist trap ??? We were offered it but didnt want to dine. Waiter seemed a little put out we were not going to play the game and be his victim of the day ? Who knows ? Always ask the price when ordering food here so that there are no surprises. The lack of a menu with clear prices is not good. However the menu del dia offered to Spanish clients did look good when delivered.

We went in here because we saw them unloading fresh clams from a boat and taking them straight into the restaurant. Good choice! 30 minutes later, those clams were on my plate. 10 minutes later, those clams were in my stomach. And ohhhhh they were good. So fresh they were sweet and perfect. My companions had the anchovies (which were exceedingly good) and swordfish steaks that were massive. Food didn't come super-speedily, but within reason for freshly cooked good food. And those clams were exquisite.

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed fresh sardines, lovely white Rioja overlooking the sea. Service was friendly and welcoming view was superb, wine was top notch and the fish was fresh and tasty. The only down side was the number of flies buzzing around and landing on the food which did get annoying after a while. Food drink and view 5/5.

Stopped here for a Coffee..There was some kind of childrems Carinival going on so we sat and watched it to pass the time of day.Coffee and service good,but had no food as we had just eaten.Other oeoples food looked good though.Right on the sea front .Nice place to pass the time of day if it sunny which it was.

Quality fresh fish and seafood. Relaxed dining. Great location overlooking beach at Carboneras. Efficient service. The prawns were wonderful. Almejas too. Grilled calamari cooked to perfection and charred in right places to add to the flavour ! Great terrace for people watching.
