Were in Agua Amarga to get a little bit of Costa del Sol during our 2 week drive around Spain and perhaps see where the Ben Kingsley flick, Sexy Beast, from the early oughts was alleged filmed. Well, according to the NYC relocated owner, right up the street! And the next day I drove around I think I saw it but I can't be sure.Regardless, we were staying at a quiet resort a few KMs outside of town and ended up here for dinner. Great setting surrounding their outdoor pool-very romantic. Our starter of langostino puffs were tasty. My entree of a local fresh catch in a Greek based sauce and setting was somewhat bland-there was just something missing. And my wife did enjoy her seafood pasta entree-but again a bit reserved and underwhelming. In the end, I am guessing that they have a somewhat novice chef who is not ready to break out and go bold but I could be wrong.

Fusion restaurant. Specializes in vegan and vegetarian food, also meat and fish dishes and all this topped with a Spanish/Dutch sauce. Very affordable, cozy, good music with beautiful and quiet terrace 50 meters from the boulevard and beach. Fusion restau
Had the pizza which was mean and lacking taste, we left hungry. Much better places to eat, avoid this place. When we read this review we where flabbergasted. What sane person writes something like this? It is not a constructive review with recommendations. No, it is just a review from a very frustrated person with probably a lot of anger issues trying to slander businesses.Looking through the reviews you placed over the years we can conclude that you have the same problems all over the world in different establishments. In a lot of places you find the portions to small and you are leaving hungry. Maybe you are an excessive eater for who there is no portion big enough or you should order more food instead of sharing a plate to save money (This conclusion however could explain why you find a lot of restaurants expensive). You also complain a lot about about hotels rooms that are to small. I will not make the connection with the always leaving restaurants hungry and your physical form. You also seem to have a lot of problems with insects, everything is too expensive and the waiters are rude to you. Maybe a hint to be a little bit more amiable (difficult word that means nice)! Now we stop with analysing your mental/physical state of mind and come to the heart of the matter, the pizzas! Our pizzas are hand made. Totally hand made and every day fresh!! No machine touches the dough only hands. Made from special imported Italian 00 flower (00 flower is very fine grinded and specially made for making the best pizzas). Sauce also handmade with fresh ingredients. For the art of making pizzas ( yes, making a good pizza is an art) we lived in Italy for a few months to learn from Italian family the craft of making the best Italian Roman pizzas (so not a pizzas from Naples because they are different. If you are interested in the difference, look it up on Google. You might learn something new). But you are telling us that our pizzas are mean??? What do you mean??? Mean pizzas??? Did they bite you??? You could have better used the word common or mediocre. Grammatically a better choice and much clearer.I'm stopping now because i have spend to much valuable time on this nonsense review from a person that is always hungry, sleeps in to small hotel rooms, always finds rude waiters and insects on his travels and is attacked by mean pizzas.

Cuisine that combines innovation and tradition, using quality raw materials, processed with the most modern methods and with great creativity.
Off the beaten track (in January at least), lovely setting with some fantastic dishes from a simple menu. Great beer and wine recommendations from our knowledgeable and personable waiter. We enjoyed every minute and even our small dog was made welcome, weâre definitely going back and taking friends!

Honest Food made by local young people. Most of our produce is made from scratch and is organic. We serve spelt and wheat pizza as well as great homemade beef burgers along with different tapas and veggie burgers. We do try our best to give Honest Food. P

What a shame... we had a lovely coffee late morning. Then my other half went off on an errand. Their attitude to me turned instantly - as a woman on her own they were rude and arrogant. Our plan to stay for lunch didnât last long. I have spent a lot of time in Spain and my Spanish is strong, but the attitude of the staff here was the worst I have experienced in a long time.Buenas tardes!!!
