We literally fell on this place as we needed to stop on our journey to Malaga. We went with the suggestion of the house, salad, chuleton and green peppers with potatoes.The salad was really great, amazing tuna and dried tuna, (mojama..?). Olives were amazing too.The meat is to die for... melts in the mouth. Gorgeous. Stunning plate of food.We ordered fresh fruit not knowing that you get a complementary ice cream dish aswell.It was not cheap, but it was really good food..

Hola de nuevo compañeros gastronomicos,,,indicaros que en este ultimo Puente del Pilar,,, me fui a visitar la pedania de Topares,,,un bonito pueblo cercano a la Sierra de Velez Rubio-de la Provincia de Almeria y cual fue mi sorpresa tan agradable que disfrutamos en compañia de unos amigos,,,de un paseo por las calles del pueblo con el encanto de los adoquines rodeando la Plaza de la Iglesia y con una Torre que cuenta con dos relojes,,,,fuimos a reponer fuerzas de la caminata ,,al peculiar Rest.El Corralillo para degustar un delicioso asado al horno de cordero segureño,,,acompañado de unas patatas y ajo casero de mortero que quitaban las penas,,, y unos entrantes increibles,,,de queso de cabra con mermelada,calamar plancha,,,,y por supuesto sin olvidar el plato estrella,,,los famosos huevos cortijeros,,eso si recomiendo tener a mano una buena barra de pan,,,,y a saborear...se ha dicho,,,sin duda un gran manjar para comer muy bien,,,, y sin olvidar la atencion de los dueños,,,una familia encantadora y las simpaticas camareras que estaban en todo momento pendientes de nuestra mesa,,,,un fuerte abrazo por el bonito dia que nos hicisteis pasar y que no olvidaremos,,,

me encanta la cocina de estre restaurante, todo lo que pides esta buenisimo y ademas a un precio que merece la pena ir y probar todo lo que hacen, hacen un bacalado gratinado que esta buenisimo, solo e estado un fin de semana en topares y lo pase integro en este bar, ponen unas tapas con las cerveza que te anima a seguir pidiendo, este verano volvere seguro

We had a day out in the Sierra Maria north of Velez Blanco, the weather was perfect and the scenery with blossom and spring flowers was stunning. We ended up at the recreational area of La Piza which is also the source of the river Piza. It is in the middle of a tranquil environment of pine trees and secular oaks, and is one of the best preserved wooded areas in the province of AlmerÃa.The Restaurant/bar La Piza was open for lunch so in we went, we were the only ones in the main dining room. We were not offered menus and the chalk board had suggestions but no prices. That should have been a warning sign.Our genial host though pressed us to have the house speciality which was Lamb Chops and Patatas Pobre.We shared a standard salad to start and then three of us had the lamb whilst the third, a vegetarian, had a Tuna Tortilla, we all shared a plate of patatas. We had two bottles of wine and ended the meal with some fairly basic desserts.Whilst we enjoyed our rustic fayre we were rather surprised when the final bill came to â¬84!Subsequently speaking to friends (and restaurateurs) who have been there, they were offered the same dishes and were equally surprised at the final bill.Thank you for your feedback !!
