Going with the usually reliable reviews on TA, my husband and I decided to give this place a try early in our trip to Aguadulce. Fully prepared for the back-alley, rough and ready experience we were unfazed and on arrival, pointed towards a free table in the busy outdoor seating area by a very young staff member. Testing our Spanish, we ordered a bottle of Cava and were happy to find it was Rondel blue rather than the 2 euro bottle we'd spotted at the supermarket earlier (& that everywhere else seemed to serve) so far, so good. We ordered an array of tapas dishes, wanting to try out this seemingly spectacular selection of traditional food....and were left terribly disappointed. Nothing was good. But nothing was that bad either. Probably the worst prawns I've ever eaten in terms of meat (all shell) and as for the 'large' portions, that left a little to be desired too. We ordered a large dish which was also very standard, nothing special and we left a little hungry and very deflated. We have eaten some spectacular tapas over the years, and this was probably one of the worst. Sorry to say Aguadulce, but you need to up your game! This goes for the majority of restaurants in the resort.

Homemade pizzas, tasty dishes, the best paellas, meat and fish. All this and more beachfront.
A bit more expensive but more quality food on offer. Right on the seafront with outdoor and indoor seating. Popular with the Spanish. Predominantly fish restaurante but other stuff too. And with each round of drinks we got a free tapa - result!

Visited with my daughter and granddaughter for a light meal. Ordered two toasted sandwiches and two sides of fries. The food arrived and only one sandwich plus two plates of tiny potato sticks (not fries) which were lukewarm. The sandwich which did turn up was made from very stale bread and inedible and most of the fries were also left. I asked for the bill and was grossly overcharged. I repeatedly asked for this to be amended and also complained about the quality of the food and suddenly none of the staff could speak English although they had previously. Eventually the correct bill was presented.

Sat inside on the first visit which is so pretty! My husband had the most amazing Argentinian rib eye steak .. it was so amazing we decided to go back on our last night. The chips are amazing - iberico fillet delicious- service understated but fabulous. We LOVED it and was our holiday highlight Great value and wine reasonably priced

Whether you want a good breakfast, tapas, full meal or just drinks at reasonable prices with good service then here is where to go. No Frills just a simple formula of care and attention to detail from Lilly and Phil but instilled into the staff. Please be aware it does become very busy at certain days and nights so book a table in advance especially if itâs a football night.

Great service, great value, nice atmosphere. Ribs were on special 12 euros, great quality and large portions. This area is very Spanish and that's one of the reasons we came here, but this one of the places were all the staff speak great English, so no communication issues.

This restaurant opened in April 2010 and is facing the five star Hotel Portobello. This place has to be the best Italiant restaurant in Roquetas and the area.

Tapas bar located in Plaza de la Constitución (Plaza Vieja) of AlmerÃa. We cook breakfast, lunch, dinner, daily menu and gourmet tapas of high quality and winners of lot of local prizes. Also, we brew our own craft beer El Chato.
This bar/restaurant is located just off the Paseo de Almeria close to the banks. Many of its customers are local office workers. I only had drinks here (very good price), having already lunched, but I could see the quality and value of the Menu del Dia still being served at about 4pm. If I were in Almeria again, I would come here for lunch. Service was friendly and pleasant.
