We visited on a recommendation from a local and enjoyed it so much went 4 times in our 14 day stay.Friendly service, great value and good quality food. Nothing fancy but always a good night with consistently good food.Fish and chips night on a Friday (booking required) was brilliant. For an inexpensive night and quality food would highly recommend.

Top chef Jeremy Stent brings his unique talent to Vera Playa in an exquisite new restaurant. His team is friendly, professional and welcoming to all, and Jeremy's menu combines local food from local sources with his passion for clean, fresh, organic food.
La Brasserie is a fairly new restaurant overlooking the beach at Laguna. The menu is not extensive but suitable for all tastes and the food is excellent. The staff are friendly. helpful and efficient. The menu is a couple of euros more expensive than the average but if you like good food which is expertly prepared and so tasty then well worth it. Highly recommended.

Family run bar/eatery. Good selection of breakfasts, lunches and evening meals plus a daily specials board. Beers, soft drinks, wines and spirits. Great views over the sea from the terrace. Quiz every Wednesday at 19.30. Sunday roast starts at 1 clock. Fi
Not new to Scottyâs, we came down for a couple of drinks whilst dinner cooked at home. Ready to leave, the smell of the garlic sizzling prawns was enough for us to go home, take dinner out and come back! They didnât disappoint! Not did the Thai vegetable curry and Hunters chicken. Watch the moon rise over the ocean, great food, drink and hospitality.

Had coffee here a few times and price is reasonable. Service is good and staff are friendly. The small mini market is a nice little extra of this place as the nearest supermarket is Consum which is a long walk in the heat if you are staying in the apartment complexes nearby. I would definitely return here. They were also showing all of the world cup games which is good if you want to sit there, have a drink and watch the football somewhere local.

Pub Millionaire is in a fabulous location facing the sea with plenty of outside seating. The staff are great, George, Laura, Emma and Colin are friendly and welcoming. There is a huge menu offering snacks (pancakes, toasties, burgers etc to dinners and are always excellent. Our particular favourites are the Chicken Curry, Chilli and the Millionaire Salad. Great place to watch all sporting events or just to relax after a walk along the Paseo or coming from the beach. Its a regular 'go to' for us

We have been coming to Verá Playa for the last 5 years and always come to this lovely bar/restaurant. The hosts Teresa and Bunny and their staff are most welcoming , offering a great choice of delicious home cooked food. Get Ryan to make you a cocktail, they are the best around! There is entertainment every Saturday night too catering for all age groups. Best to book a table beforehand as it gets extremely busy. 100% a place to visit and I guarantee you will be back for more.

We ordered a bottle of wine, the waitress arrived with a bottle of wine that has already open. We looked at the cork it was dry and when we later queried her about this, she claimed the wine had been opened 30mins beforehand. The wine didnât taste very well, we left half a bottle behind and left as soon as we finished our meal . We have never been to a restaurant where the wine is not opened in front of the customer. A very unfair review! You were asked on several occasions if everything was ok, and it was never mentioned then that you was unhappy. You drunk nearly all the wine, you cleared your plates of food, so not all too bad. If I can give some advice, please try and speak to the manager of a bar or restaurant at the time to resolve any issues you have, and they may have a solution to make your experience a happier one. One final point, we do open some wine early in busy evenings such as Fridays to speed up service.

Went for lunch with friends, our welcome was warm and friendly, and was very encouraging for our first visit, having said that it started to go downhill when the meal arrived.I ordered mackerel and prawn salad, this was presented well and enjoyable, I had ordered steak and french fries (â¬1.50) extra as I am not fond of jacket potatoes, it came with the said jacket potato, though a bowl of french fries soon followed when I pointed out their error. The steak however was a disaster, it was tough, and gristly and not particularly enjoyable, our friends also complained about their main courses, two had the duck and one had the roast chicken. There was a special offer of 50% off all main courses, but I would have been happier to pay full price and have a quality and enjoyable meal, which this was not.Its a real pity you said nothing at the time as you would have been asked and errors can be corrected

Great food and friendly service. Within walking distance of the village with reasonable prices. We do our own British tapas on Wednesdays and Saturdays between 11am and 4pm and for 1euro a dish great value its first come first serve . We take reservations
Food quality & service & great value for money. Fillet steak not to be missed & always on the menu. Good selection & variety but tapas not to be missed on market day Wednesday. Steak night on a Thursday is even better value for money. With Lesley in the kitchen & Brian front of house its the only restaurant to visit.

So we visited twice while on holiday neither booked but both times accommodated by a very friendly northern lady (Iâm guessing NE but donât want to insult her). Quick summary Ribs excellent, Cauliflower Dahl has great taste and textures, pork in cider vinegar sauce well cooked and great flavours, the goats cheese salad for starters is well balanced, the chicken tandoori juicy and tasty, the stone mess and the crumble both excellent. Service great, wine selection good and the cheap rose is brilliant at â¬10 and having drunk it in a Wine Society case and loved it for a lot more we were happy. 3 courses for â¬15 is just silly cheap and when the foods this good we would recommend a visit but definitely book.
