Came here as have had a really good vegan fajitas before. Today is the âvegâ consisted of frozen peas and sweet corn with the odd mushroom and pepper. Despite saying I was vegan the salad was served with mayonnaise on it. They said they could change it but to be honest there was little point. Hubby had the LA chicken - again it seems to be frozen. Nothing to complain about but in no way spectacular. Dear LaracroftminxI have spoken to the front of house supervisor who personally took your order. I have also seen the ticket and she had written everything down for you in fine detail of your menu choices, for starters and mains, and read the order back to you. If you didn´t want salad dressing then you should have said. The onus is on you to say what you can and can´t have. A new salad was offered to you and it would have only taken a couple of minutes but you declined it. The LA chicken is hand cut from fresh chicken which arrives daily. It is certainly not frozen!! Why would you even think that?I´ve spoken to the chef and your vegetable fajita had onions, red and green peppers, courgette, aubergine, mushrooms, peas, sweetcorn and tomatoes in it. We are sorry and disappointed that you didn´t find it satisfactory but you were asked twice if your meals were ok and you said yes twice, apart from the dressing. To have allowed us to rectify the situation at the time, would have been much better than going away and giving us a 3 star rating.

Everything here is nice and tasty. The set menu is very good value. The staff are good and efficient and very friendly.My only gripe is with the dessert that comes with the menu deal, ice cream with baileys and almonds. The only thing is they don't use almonds, they were chopped peanuts. Now for me that was just an annoyance as I hate the taste (but love almonds), but for someone with a peanut allergy, that could be fatal! One star knocked off.

Arrived late on Saturday evening so went out for Sunday lunch, I had Turkey , Mrs had beef, so did my father , mother had Lamb, as you'd expect a decent meal, and reasonable prices, all ok but must watch the bill, although I expect it was a genuine mistake, 2 of us had starters and main, 2 of us had main and desert, bill came out 4 x 3 course , when pointed out the bil was rectified. Coffee bombon , wasnt great but it was drinkable although very sweet , too much Condensed milk , shant have another in a hurry, cafe con leche was fine .In all a good meal , will have another and go again Hi Neil, Sorry to hear about our mistake. We send our apologises.Hope you enjoyed your time at TJs.
