The food here is nicely prepared (including the Italian pasta dish with tomato sauce I tried this time) and some of the tapas were interesting, but my general impression is that the recipes are a bit bland. The setting on the busy street means it's best to dine indoors, which is a pity if the weather is nice. Friendly service and good value for money.Thank you very much for your comments, this, your second visit to our restaurant is for us the reflection of our work and as manager and chef of this restaurant, I would like to know what we can do so that in the future you are not only happy, but I can enjoy an interesting gastronomic moment, I would personally thank you to help me in the choice of your dishes, since in such an extensive letter, you can always get confused and not find without a bit of help, what you are looking for . receive a cordial greeting.Ferran, manager and chef.I hope you understand my bad English, thank you.

We visited Sataris on a saturday night as there was a live singing duo on for the night. We arrived at 8pm and were immediately seated as the restaurant was quiet, our drinks order was taken shortly after. Two separate couples arrived after ourselves and received their drinks prior to us receiving our own, this was questionable but what made the start of our evening so poor was the fact one of the couples dog received a bowl of water before we received our drinks. Surely people should be served in the order they arrived and placed an order and shouldn't be served after a dog. The ice cubes for the drinks were fit for a pitcher not a single glass, on pouring the drink, this sat on top of the ice cube due to its size. The drinks were received 20 minutes after being seated. Prior to arriving at the restaurant we checked the online menu and this included an a la carte, however, we only received the set menu and were told that this was due to a new a la carte menu being launched the following week. This wouldn't have been a problem if it was highlighted on the website or when we booked the table and received confirmation. Luckily the set menu which offered 3-4 options per course, did have something suitable for each of us. The starters were fairly simple soup or serrano ham and cheese, presented very well, simple and easy. The main courses were small for the price of the set menu, the special being fish and chips was frozen chips and peas, not something you'd expect from a restaurant of this standard and reputation. The steak was cooked well but limited accompaniment of vegetables. The dessert was the course which stood out, the chocolate brownie was amazing. Gooey and topped with thick chocolate and icecream, well worth waiting for and by far the only food worthy of 5 star. The service throughout was inconsistent, appeared to be unorganised and understaffed with two ladies running round trying to keep up with all tables. They were extremely polite and by no means a negative on them, if anything, we did feel a little sorry for the ladies working as they were clearly tired and rushed off their feet. The entertainment was perfect, the singing was fantastic and very interactive with the diners which set a great atmosphere. Overall the food was average but the entertainment did make up for this.

We tried The Food Bar by Republic today for the first time, on the occasion of my wife's birthday. We have been regular visitors to several of this restaurant's close competitors such as La Cabana for several years. The most positive aspect of this outlet is the setting, which is superb. We were disappointed with today's meal experience. We ordered starters and main courses, aperitives and a bottle of rose wine. Of the four dishes, two were fairly well executed; two were poorly prepared. My wife ordered lobster which was very undercooked in parts. The meat in the claws was almost raw.Our bill for two was in excess of 110 euros. When we are paying approximately 55 euros per head, we do not expect to make repeated requests for the wine to be poured into empty glasses. The service was slow and unenthusiastic.Overall; a place to avoid.
