Tasca 42 is a delightful Spanish tapas bar with a sea view and a good selection of wines and tapas at very reasonable prices. The decor is modern/chic with indoor and outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Ana the owner, with her Italian partner Michele,
Visited after reading reviews for tasca 42. Our first meal in Moraira, we didnât book a table so sat inside. Staff polite and friendly. Wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. Local house red, Tempranillo was 3 euros a glass. So the food.......well it was very Spanish. Possibly too Spanish for my wife and my son. Tapas were very tasty, we went for pan y Ali oli and tomato, chicken wings and fresh sardines. Main courses were just ok. My son ordered cuttlefish but wasnât too keen!!! So I ended up eating most of it. My daughter and I ordered garlic prawns with guacamole and chips!!!!???? It was very tasty but very filling. My wife had the mini burger which was just enough for her as she wasnât too hungry. Menu is quite different so donât expect to go there with a list of meats, fishes, pastas etc. The place does get busy and especially outside seating so booking would be advised.

Opened in April 2013 by Renata, Chic Cafe offers a wide variety of coffees, breakfasts, tapas, salads, focaccia and carpaccio accompanied by a selection of Spanish wine and cocktails. We only cook with fresh produce. It is a principle and our trademark in
Had a thoroughly enjoyable lunch here. We hadnât booked and chanced upon a pavement table. The waitresses took a while to get to us but once we ordered everything was lovely. We had prawns, the mozzarella salad and homemade croquettes which were beautiful. The kids chicken fingers were made with chicken fillet and were really tasty too. It is tucked a bit out of the way of the main tourist route but itâs definitely worth seeking out.

We love eating seafood and whilst in Moraira, we decided to try out the Piscis restaurant as it is rated highly on Tripadvisor. We called in the restaurant one Tuesday evening without a reservation, however, we were offered a table for 2 as there were some tables free. We were offered a glass of sparkling white wine once seated. There are plenty of fish dishes in the menu. We had a mixed salad and prawn cocktail as starters and our mains consisted of mixed grilled fish and peppers stuffed with squid. Both dishes were delicious; the fish was cooked to perfection and the squid's sauce was out of this world, absolutely tasty. We were so full that we did not order any dessert. The service was attentive and personal which was very pleasant. We had a lovely meal here and would come here again. The Wise-OnesSeptember 2019

Lovely restaurant with great food - not the best Iâve ever had, but good and generous portions, though a little pricey compared to other local restaurants - however the beautiful surroundings made it worth while and a delightful change. Friendly efficient service. I would recommend it but maybe not in the summer if you donât want children running around, as there is a playground in the grounds, so assume it is popular with families!

The location is wonderful with amazing views, the food is excellent and the wines remarkably good value for money. But what really set this restaurant apart was the amazing service we received. The lady who served us (can't remember the name, short hair with glasses) was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Best I've seen in many months.

Excellent food, friendly staff who made my celebration very special. Outside courtyard had been decorated beautifully, 33 friends had a wonderful night made even more special by Juan Pablo (singer) arranged by Edy. He was magic. Eaten many times at this restaurant and never been disappointed. Edy and her staff go out of their way to please and food is always good.

This is a great place on the main square
Visited with the family for a Saturday night meal. The menu was all inclusive but they didnât offer us desert or coffee. There was some misunderstanding when the bill came as we thought chopitos were included but apparently they arenât. So we paid the bill minus the chopitos which we didnât drink and pointed out we were upset not to be offered desert or coffee. I presume it was the owner who started shouting at us and hurling insults at us wishing us all dead as we were English tourists. We arenât tourists as we live locally but we wonât visit again or recommend this place. Food was only ok anyhow. Thereâs plenty of choice so Iâll vote with my feet.Rude obnoxious staff

A very friendly family run restaurant. A very extensive set menu at a very competitive price. in addition the owner brings little nibbles to the table. Don't eat too many or you won't have room for the large portions of your dinner. A favourite haunt of mine!

381/5000 Restaurant on the beach with fine sand. Traditional Mediterranean food Local with several atmospheres: Self-service in terrace Arena, waiter service in the restaurant area, drinks, ice creams, cocktails ... At night the Arena terrace is transform
We visited El Castillo Restaurant and had simply awful food! We were treat badly after returning some chicken that was so undercooked it was dangerous! The owner knows I'm going to leave a review after the way we were treated. The children ate 7/10 chicken nuggets and then told us they were cold, funny coloured and wet. I quickly stopped them having any more and called the lady waiter to politely point this out....we waited ten minutes and nothing was done. I complained to a gentleman waiter and he said he would make some more. Not something any of us wanted to experience again and even left one of our party very upset at the thought of being very ill for the rest of our stay...The waiter then quite rightly said' "what do you want me to do?" and I simply said, "bring me the bill please and we will see". He took the price of the nuggets off but not the fries it was served with. I then said "are you happy with that?" and he said "yes" I told "I am not" at this point what appeared to be the owner stepped in and said "pay me nothing" I said I'm a fair man and offered to pay for the drinks at least. He said "No" and then quickly added "and never come in my restuarant again!" Now somehow I think that's very unlikely as the food was awful and we were going home the day after anyway. What really got to me was there was no apology what so ever and told to never come back. I have told you all exactly as it happened as I'm not one for twisting the truth. I have posted some photos of the dangerous food. Avoid this place! it wants closing down immediately in my honest opinion.

Great little restaurant called in on Saturday night and was made extremely welcome with a lovely label on their small but stunning terrace. Following a great conversation with the owner who knows how to work âfront of houseâ fantastically we ordered Chiperonies a la planca and tortilla (freshly prepared) both plentiful and a delight to eat. To follow on our hosts recommendations we had Tuna (caught that day) and Roast Suckling Pig again both were not oversold and a joy to eat. We washed it all down with an inexpensive bottle of Albarino chilled to perfection. Itâs great to find restaurants that are true to the region and country. Thanks for a great evening and an outstandingly memorable meat.
