Bistro Chapi, very cosi atnosfhere inside and a beautiful terras outside, specialised in small Spanish dishes with a northern Spanish cuisine. Several tapas such as octopus, garlic prawns, scallops, foie...and as plate also our best entrecot and sirloin..
Great new restaurant, loved our visit and hope to go back. Delicious seafood, particularly the octopus, some of the best weâve ever had! Lots of interesting things to try on the menu, and very knowledgeable staff who were able to recommend dishes (which were all fantastic!!)Thank you so much, hope to see you soon , xx

This cute little place sits in the shadow of the magnificent church. Great place to sit and watch the world go by while tasting the tapas and testing the beers and wines. Popular with locals, tourists...and fun-filled wedding guests.

apparently this restaurant has the same owners 30 years and a credit to them! lovely peaceful setting around 10 / 15 mins from benidorm open lunch time and from 7pm offering various set menu or a la carte. plenty of choice and orice varies accordingly. you can tell all cooked fresh to order with fresh ingredients could not taste anything that seemed cooked from frozen. we had a range of mussels, sepia / squid , roquefort on lettuce type and traditional prawn cocktail all excellent ! followed by lamb chops grilled prawns and pork served with fries salad and veg all perfect! house wine from 10e ! great service, views and value.

Restaurante familiar,ambiente agradable
You sit under trees netted so leaves don't fall on you. A quiet little stream provides splashing entertainment for children. A really lovely setting and a must for a summer day. Food is of the Spanish home cooking with some little touches of flair. Great location to come with friends. Never disappointed.

This is a great place to come to for a drink and a snack if you find yourself in Polop. This cafe is sited halfway up to the Castel and progress up the road is marked by attractive icons in small whitewashed turreted towers depicting the religious stations of the cross. There are also helpful information boards along the way telling you what the view is. The bar itself is on a piece of evel ground that has several picnic tables with sun covers giving fantastic views of the mountains. The food is mediocre but the reviews are good as compared with the other tappas bars in Polop it is better.

Oasis, La Nucia â We attended this fantastically popular and hellishly busy venue on a Friday afternoon at circa 2.30pm (TIP > Make sure you book/reserve a table in advance irrespective of the size of your party if intending to visit of a Friday afternoon). Very, very busy and seemingly crowded from some perspectives throughout but still enough space available so as not to adversely impact your afternoonâs enjoyment. We had the, popular as ever, menu del dÃa option with the upgraded half bottle of rioja wine per person. At the final count the meal costed us 14 euros per person including a tip. Our chosen selection comprised of : bread and alioli, fresh green salad, soup or entremeses (sliced meats and cheese), large lamb shank, mixed desert offering and white coffee. And if all thatâs too much for you just ask and theyâll arrange a takeaway package for anything youâd like to eat later. The service from smart and often bilingual waiting staff was fast, efficient and friendly. The toilets are large in size (though the venue is huge when full) and spotlessly clean. The tented area always seems to be the cooler option as the air gets a chance to sneak in and circulate.Always a joy to come to Oasis for a leisurely social afternoon of eating and drinking in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere where you are never rushed â¦. But they donât half clean up quick when you go !!All in all a wonderful archetypally Spanish experience at a location steeped in providing excellent value for money.

For me probably one of the best restaurants in the area. Where you really can taste the most typical food of the area of Polop, Callosa... The owner Is an artist, you really can feel that he has an outstanding education and gastronomic culture. The guy studied in ecole hotelier in Switzerland! Amazing wine list. Give it a try you will not regret

What a disgrace that they donât speak proper English at all. We thought we booked a table but when we arrived there was no table. The real sad, un-Michelin type element was they offered no solution, no solace, no service gesture whatsoever. I get it when a reservation goes bad, and it happens sometimes. But they even got mad at us after we suggested they improved their English a bit in order to prevent such mistakes. The food might be great (they say) but their empathy levels are shockingly low. If they wouldâve just offered us a drink and ordered us a cab we wouldâve felt fine but they treated us quite bad. Your reservation was booked for January 12 2019, the reservation was attended by the chef in person who speaks perfectly English. Today you have called to say that you were late, and I do not understand very much English, so I asked please to wait a moment to attend them better in English, since you do not speak either Spanish or French. You passed me the call to a friend of yours who speaks Spanish and confirmed me that you were Mr. Holtonn. When the real Mr. Holtonn shows up at the restaurant, I called you up to three occasions with no answer. Once you were in the restaurant, we were just looking at how to fix it, I asked you to wait, that in less than an hour we would set a table for you to attend tonight, not the one you had reserved for January 12.As they did not want to wait for me to solve the problem of misunderstanding of the reservation, we could not do anything for you to have dinner here today. From number 29 to 12, there is a lot of difference in any language, this Saturday 29 was complete, even with reservations waiting for about ten days, which was very unlikely that you could run the reserve for today 29. We called for the taxi indeed. We deeply regret this misunderstanding.El Xato
