I have stumbled into this restaurant while in Elche and what a find it was!Throughout my stay I have gone back three times and I would have loved to go back for more. The staff is as nice as it gets and the venue offers both indoors and outdoors seating. But what makes this place special is definitely the food.I wouldn't know where to start... But if you don't try the 'three times cooked' octopus you haven't lived to the full!I absolutely recommend it, a must go!!!Good morning Alexaj70, Thank you very much for your review. We are very very happy to know that our customers feel so well and enjoy our dishes and services to the fullest. We hope to see you again in Sansano's Restaurant. Regards!

It is in the town centre, but take a cab here,as we took 45 minutes to find it. However, once ensconced, the standards became evident even in the making of our aperitifs - a G & T and Campari served on a trolley to our table and exactingly made beside us. All before we were shown to our table and realised that apart from 1 other couple,we were the sole customers on a Wednesday night. There was a language problem ; our Espanol not up to the numerous ingredients of each delicate course,so we opted for the tasting menu at a reasonable 30⬠and it was excellent. Small but delicious samples of scallop, salmon ,rabbit and more, and even the dessert had cheese and a Baileys mixture.a great 'find' for foodies who happen to be in the town.Thank you very much for visiting us.We try that our restaurant become a place to feel good and taste flavors of our region and new food trends. We're fixing our a la carte menu to make the list of ingredients more understandable. We glad you enjoyed the dinner.

Flavors of our country with a personal style. Food & music in very warm environment.
Bordering on fine dining, La Musa de Velarde serves creatively designed dishes that are pretty to behold and wonderfully appealing. Our family of four ordered fried green tomatoes, Musa meat pastry (made with candied beef cheek, sweet peppers and pomegranate caviar) and veg wrapped roll as starters -- all a feast to the eyes and a treat for the taste buds. For mains, we ordered the house burger and steak loin. Burger was tastefully cooked, nestled in soft and fluffy buns. The steak were delicious, tender and sumptuously moist, albeit portions were too small compared to its gastronomic taste! All in all, the food we had was delightful, elegant, made with a certain level of sophistication. The ingredients are well matched and perfectly formed. For this kind of food, we thought the prices were above average but justified.

La Masia de Chencho is a countryside old house, in the middle of the Elche countryside. It has beautiful gardens and a summer terrace with barbacue. The cellar has more tan 500 wine and champagnes references, all of them supervised by Rafael Reyes, who wa
The Massia is quite simply a professionally run venue with great attention to detail, that produces excellent food. It is in the country on the outside of Elche, and has a formal yet friendly feel to it. The food I had was beautifully cooked and served. My arroz was the best I have tasted anywhere. This is a venue for special occasions, and will not disappoint.

The restaurant wil be closed during the second fortnight of august.
Tried this after reading reviews on Trip Advisor.. A really nice restaurant with very attentive staff. We sat outside and were served quickly. The restaurant specialises in fish but had a couple of meat dishes. As I had a steak the previous night I went for the pork. It was served with a mushroom sauce. I asked what else it came with and was told nothing else. As I am not a great lover of mushroom sauce I asked for it to be served to the side of the meat, which it thankfully was. The meat had a strange texture and the mushroom were very soft and had no taste or texture at all. A friend had the turbot which was served with just a mushroom sauce, it looked exactly like the sauce that came with my pork. The turbot had a slime like coating and was overcooked. My friend asked for some rice to accompany the fish which they served. The salad we had for starter was very nice and the red wine was excellent, pity about the overpriced food.

Always book here , if not you will be disappointed. We opted for the a la Carte menus as the tasting menu on the night was different from that on the restaurants webpage. Service was attentive but at time slightly erratic. The night didnât get of well when the cocktail glass from one of our cocktails was marked with lipstick, rather of putting, we accepted the apology and continued with our meal. Food is first class and the flavours are exquisite. We opted to share 4 entrees that are a good size to share, the portions are not big. The highlight if the meal was the soft crab and the tuna tataki. This restaurant is best to get to by taxi if you are having a break here in Elche. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Thank you so much for your opinion Gareth! We like to offer to all our guests a fine service, so they can go satisfied :)We'd like to see you again!

Beautiful big restaurant. Lovely decor, well laid tables. We had the menu of the day at â¬15. What let it down was poor service. We had to ask waitress what the menu was besides paella was all she offered us verbally. Eventually she told us we could also have chops or fish instead. Also had to ask for bread, aioli, tomato. If no written menu is available ok, but please then give people all the choices available. Starters were small mixed salad not enough for 4, calamares and cheese with white sausage. We had seafood paella which was average. Others had lamb chops which weren't originally offered. Won't rush back.

Wow.....what an amazing experience we had here for our valentines weekend. We opted for the klandestino XL menu and it was just sensational. The service was first class and the waiters really explain to you in detail how to correctly eat each course. The chef Susi DÃaz is one clever lady creating exquisite plates of food. Its a very special place and deserves it Michelin Star. A great place to celebrate a special occasion or if you are a food lover this is a place that you must put on your culinary list. Simply sensational.

Not much English spoken, but we got by. Massive Caesar salad and also given a couple of tapas plates. Menu of the day seemed great value, but more than we wanted. The beer was ice cold as was the glass it came in. Fantastic for a hot day.
