Oceana Club is a fresh Caribbean atmospheric with a touch of Ibiza, artistic dishes, which are made from our freshly daily delivered produce, our terraces are surrounded by 310 degrees of the beautiful warm Med sea, stunning cocktail lounge and dining terra
Arrived alone, second time at the restaurant under new management, the place was half full and I asked for a table, I was given a table at the terrace and so far so good. When I try to choose the side to sit I realized that on my chosen side the chairs were all wet, I then try to get the waiter to change or wipe the chair and I was informed that on that side all chairs were wet due to salt water wave speels, reluctantly I was asked to sit on the opposite side which was facing the sea (damn.. I was alone, not on a date and sea was pitch dark I wanted to face ppl around me), without any effort by the waiters to give me a solution I end up sitting giving my back to everyone around and looking at that pich black sea. I then I asked for a glass of red wine which came at room temperature (hello.. we are in Spain, its august, you guys need to chill the wine, you can't serve red wine at 25*c) so.. then I call the waiter which gave 2 options, or I could take white wine which was cold or she could bring me a piece of ice for my red wine (what ????), at this stage I was already freaking out but decided to cool down returning the wine and order a beer. Next, I order the food, one starter and one main, after a wile the waiter came and for my astonishment she came with the 2 dishes at the same time, the starter and the main at same time (), I then decided enough is enough and refuse the food, I decide to ask to pay for the beer sip and leave the restaurant. On the way out I found the hooligan nasty british owner, I then expressed my discontent explaining the nightmare service, without any apologies whatsoever he literally escorted me to the door shouting at me obscenities and intimidate me if I will ever return to his place. This restaurant has a privileged location and is walking distance from my summer residence, I used to be a regular under the previous owner, shame on the new owners. Good Morning..... thank you for your un true review witch is completely non valid of what happened !! firstly the sea was quite rough on this particular evening which is something we donât have any control over , we had other tables available for you to sit at but you were happy to have sat where you did and not at any time did anyone force you to sit there ..... secondly the red wine did come from the chiller and is a premium house wine which is and was and on that exact night highly complemented by our other dining guests . You ordered the picadura Cameron and the secret iberico you are correct in saying 2 dishes came out at the sameTime infact this was an error but not one that deserved your out and out rudeness to our staff ! We always accept any criticism and act immediately to make sure every error is rectified in the correct manner , had you of spoken to our staff in the correct way we would have made sure you got the correct order ! You were kindly asked to leave the premises on the basis that we do NOT allow any client for whatever reason to be rude and disrespectful to any member of our staff !!! Everybody noticed your attitude when you came in alone was very negative so Iâm sorry sir but maybe you had a bad day but please do not leave un true remarks on our site which are 100% un justified . We will be reporting this review !!!

A restaurant situated in a big garden by the sea to take advantage of the exceptional landscape by savouring a cocktail or by eating a simple cooking but of quality.
Although we only had drinks here, it was well worth the visit for the beautiful view over El Portet beach. The restaurant is up some steps so is quite hidden but once you find it you're greeted with palm trees and lots of lovely greenery. The seating area is next to a small hotel and pool, all with a lovely view of the sea. The drinks menu had a lot of classic and special cocktails, we chose the La Paillotte which had coconut and banana liqueur - Not very strong but tasty. A lot of the food coming out looked fancy and smelt great, so this is something to look at in advance if you want to spend an evening here.Merci beaucoup, nous espérons vous revoir très vite.

Visited Friday last, the 20/9. We had booked a table via email from the UK before travelling. Very easy and prompt reply and confirmation. Arrived in the town of Calpe and wandered the back streets in search of the restaurant. Very difficult to find, but the upper terrace/ outdoor eating area is opposite the 'Town council offices. We were warmly greeted and shown to our table by a very pleasant lady, who explained the menu in detail and even adjusted the composition of the 'goats cheese ' starter to suit my wife's requirements. I had Squid from the tapas menu to start. Excellent dish. For main course my wife ordered the pork fillet which was nicely presented but far to much for a small lady to eat. I chose the rack of lamb and after debate decided on the four chop loin rather than the eight. Believe me the four was plentiful. Nice veg and separate chips were good. We were so full after the two courses that neither of us were able to manage a dessert. The house wine, both white and red was impressive (the red in particular). Two slight grumbles were that my lamb chops were a little 'under' from what I ordered and the lady waitress/owner was on her own trying to serve about 20 covers all on the roof garden. She welcomed people, explained the menu, took orders, served drinks and served the food. Although she was excellent at her jobs, it slowed things up considerably. A great place to eat and a good varied menu, however the few grumbles just took the edge off proceedings.

So disappointed after reading the multiple five star reviews and pre-booking. Cons: under staffed so service is slow and tense with repeated requests for glasses etc Ambiance is stuck in 1990s with blue fairy lights suspended from walls and noisy fan ticking through the whole evening (no music to create atmosphere sadly). Pros: food is good and homely if a bit old world compared to other Calpe options Hi thereThank you for your lovely review! So 2 star for good food homely food? Woop!I'm so sorry I didn't realise that twinkly lights were 90s? Was that even a thing??We do have music by the way and next time in the middle of summer please request the fans to be turned off! P.s all of our feedback is genuine as we never ask anyone to post a feedback! Thanks that you think we do though;-)

We have never met a better restaurant manager than Christian and doubt there can be one. He is charming, professional and the perfect host. His team are also excellent and Kostaâs food lives up to all the rave reviews...the special dessert is ridiculous, just wonderful!
